While I love this ROM for the most part I still have concerns over the battery issues. Its dropping way too fast for me. Ill come back to it after my trip next week and give it another shot when I can risk it dying on me (if it even will).

I think its the same situation for the video as well. Several days someone posted about video problems so I looked into it. I found the larger (HD) videos would crash the video player. The videos I used were HD and shot with my camcorder mounted on my motorcycle. If I played a smaller vid in regualr format, I didn't have any problems. I think mostly its a limitation of the processing and video of our phones. Theyre pretty maxed out as it is.
I wonder if things are better for the guys/gals that are overclocking.

You (of all people Dave) need to ignore everything & follow this post & run the check20 cab from this post & retry yourself!! Come on man, it'll take you 5 min & you can always back it out.. but warning.... Once you go, you'll never go back..! :>))

A side note: I certainly hope you guys are running class 6 SD cards! C with a 6 in the middle. C2=2m/s, C4=4m/s, C6=6m/s
A slow SD card could potentially have something todo with it. Move to internal storage temporarily & try again.

another bug (aside from the ones in my previous post) is the taskbar (on the CookieAug10), had it plugged into active sync and now I had to softreset otherwise the ActiveSync icon and the Signal Strength icons where overlapping!

EDIT: upon soft-reset with no cable plugged in, there wasnt even a signal bar only activesync, I did task29 it, so i will hard reset again...

This rom is the truth. previously on mighty rom for about 4 mos. now flashed energy rom, overclocked with netripper's app @ 749 for about 2 weeks now. extremely stable with 20 cabs loaded. no freezing, no sod. this rom is sickkkkk. much respect NRG!

NOPE... after a hard rest with nothing plugged in after a bit (the screen turned on by itself from standby, i can only guess band switching) the signal strength icon will turn into the activesync icon then try to turn back (thus overlaying both on eachother and making it look ****ed up)...

Energy.RHODCDMA.21911.Sense2.5.Cookie.Aug.10 is what im on... didnt get to test it with reference... (i am guessing this is a taskbar issue, i have not installed or configured anything, its pure vanilla from the ruu)

Where can i find a cab for the taskbar used in NRG roms.. I accidently downloaded the Sense Reference instead of Sense Standard.

I myself still experience BSOD last time i tried. Maybe i'll give those cabs a try. which ones are newer?
