is there a way to set it up so that the windows mobile sms/mms is the default for composing and replying to messages? i want to disable arcsoft becuase its way to buggy and slow.

Go to the first page of this forum and you should see the optional .cab for disabling htc sms messaging. I think it's there, at least!

anyone having this issue with the Opera browser in the latest ROM, it just hangs for about a minute then partially loads a page which you have to wait for another minute for the complete page to render. is there a fix ?

then hard reset. Please read task29 instructions carefully if you're not familiar with it. After you use it, you won't get past boot screen so you'll have to manually enter boot loader to flash new ROM.

Please help. I am a noob here. Just flashed a few ROMs for the first time. I don't need frills, just something functional, fast, and customizable. I chose NRGz titanium rom because that's all I need. I don't want or need most of the HTC stuff.

Here is my issue. I cannot connect to the internet. The phone does register a data connection in communication manager, and everything else works fine on the phone, except for MMS, email, and internet browsing. Is there any fix for this? Any ideas? It used to work before.....

Also, this may be a related question, but what is carrier provisioning? I tried the SPRINT option, but nothing changed....

Again, please help me. I am new and really want to use these ROMs....

are you on sprint? I know for verizon the login and pw are both "vzw". not sure for sprint but its probably something easy. try looking for the default pw for sprint air cards. should be the same

Yea im on sprint...would this be because of the rom??......and what if i flashed a different radio??.....i also get a failure to connect to data error and say wrong user name and password for sprint vision or something....i just got this touch pro 2 today and is there a way i can see my sprint vision pw and username on my touch pro 1 with this same nrg rom??

BEFORE my current issue with the data connection not working, it was the same issue that you are having right now. When I called Sprint they gave me the username and password, but I didn't write it down....

I have had that happen and have had some luck by going into and back out of airplane mode. I also have done as some have suggested and used my full phone number (just numbers), and had that work also. I flash very often, so none of my 'fixes' last very long. I just upgraded my radio to the USC USC_2.18WV radio and went from the 6.5.x (23566) to the 6.5 (21903) O/S. I think it's all running noticably more stable now.
