I haven't had much luck with getting a response in other threads so i figured i would ask some of the pros here:

Has anyone found a solution to pcanywhere mobile on WM6.5 or higher? I rely on pcanywhere with my job and have been devastated to find out that the lastest version of pcanywhere mobile only works on WM6.1. On WM6.5xx it will only run after the initial install until you do a soft reset. After which, pcanywhere mobile will never launch again. Seems like a certificate issue or something else fairly simple.

Symantec does not seem intereseted in releasing a patch. I have pcanywhere 12.5. Has anyone figured out how to run the mobile version on WM6.5 or higher?

As it stands now, i would need to flash back to a 6.1 rom each time i need control/troubleshoot our servers. Ug. I can't even think about that.

Has anyone heard any promising news?

So I just installed Energy.RHOD500.23529.Leo_07.Feb.2010 from the USB card (I installed the MaxManilla version last night via USB / ActiveSync) and editing contacts is ridiculously slow. Especially when linking them to FaceBook. I wasn't sure if it had to do with the new 1.1 version of FaceBook cooked in or what, so I installed 1.007 again from the MarketPlace but it is still doing the same thing.

Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm using VZW TP2 Rhod 500

My apologies in advance but I searched the forum and cannot seem to find the answer. Is it possible to make a link to the "All People" functionality of the people tab and have it as an application link on the Home tab? If so, how?

not sure if this has been questioned or addressed as I don't read through hundreds of pages if I am able to solve my own problem.

anyone having trouble syncing their facebook contacts and finding them showing up in their album instead need only to delete the fbimagecache. You can find it under file explorer-my device-temp. simply delete the folder and presto! your facebook contacts will sync and disappear from your album.

It seems this only appears when using the facebook windows app.

i have never used hd tweeks to disable notitfications ... always used the app in tools / tweeks ... i did install hd2 but i dont even see an option to disable ..im i blind?

Uhhhhh no. I am sllloooww today. I know what you want now....Disable Notification Manager. I was thinkin somethin else.... I'll have 2 look for that..

HD Tweaks is swell though.....for other things

I checked it out and set File Explorer to show All Files, but there is nothing at all in my Temp Folder on \My Device\Temp...

You have to set the max zoom level in Opera options, I was havin' the same problem... screen tap & zoom bar wouldn't work, but both work now.

Hey all. -long time lurker here-

I loved the Feb 4th ROM it was very stable, and I'm always stoked for the new builds. I'm running the 7th 23529 MM. It seems the GSM Cellular connection option is missing from the modem selection on this build.

I use my Verizon phone on AT&T's network (changed jobs and didn't want to change phones at the time).

Connections > make a new connection > Select a Modem > There is no Cellular line (GSM) option. ..so I'm hosed in creating a data connection for wap.cingluar.

I'm sure this isn't isolated, unless I'm surrounded in brain fog today (wouldn't be the first time). I'm downloading the 21891 build now to see if it has the same issue.

3. You can not make the tabs open to WM outlook or SMS without a drastic change to the registry and editing some manila files. Had a bud try doing exactly this on his TP awhile back and he couldn't justify all the work for just two tab mapping.....and he cooks some of the best TP1 ROMs, he's good. Loootttss of woorrrkkk.

If you want to hit the tabs and open straight into WM its a no go that is. If you hit the mail tab now it goes to the Sense mail tab, just tap "All Messages". Same for SMS,AFTER you run the Zeynee disable HTC messaging cab, got to SMS tab hit "all Messages" and it will go straight to WM. Sorry, not quite as custom as what you want. OR Just disable those two tabs and make "Messaging" one of your quicklinks on home tab and it wil go to the WM account picker that shows SMS and Email.

Go into settings and adjust the tap-zoom level.

People having problems with OPERA...load up 10 Beta 2 rather than the latest latest version NRG has in the ROM already. It'll overwrite the buggy version installed right now.
