I've been looking at this for a while and searching has produced nothing. I don't remember exactly when it started (it did work at one time), but right now I am on the 3/17 Sense 2.5 23547 version (but it's was happening in previous released, too). The "My Location" works just about everywhere EXCEPT when I in my town. GPS works fine cause Google Maps and Bing both work fine showing where I am, as does "Footprints". It shows neighboring towns fine, but keeps showing the wrong name for mine. I have looked in the registry (both Weather.CurLocInfo in HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila and Locality in HKLM_SOFTWARE\HTC\HTCGeoService\en_US) and the wrong name is there. I am guessing that it has to do with where the text name is pulled and loaded from, but I have no clue where that is. For the record, I am running Confipper's V5 Weather and have no issue adding locations on my own, so I don't believe that to be it.

Anyone out there have any ideas???

I think.....just tap on the shortcut tab, then from the quick link menu choose bookmark, then choose the website . Make sure opera is set as your default browser.

Zing Zing, I can get the preview of the websites to work under the main page of Opera 10 where it lets you add up to 9 websites on a 3x3 screen.

My problem is on the sense tab when I click on the web globe and it shows the page that lets you click on the internet search bar, the Launch Browser blue globe or the quick links of the page you designate. It has 10 websites that can be added in two columns of 5 each.

Hopefully this clears it up, if I am the one that didn't understand please forgive me and explain it again for me.

Hey all... sorry if this has been asked, but 1000 pages is a lot to sift through...

I am getting a false SMS notification in the 2x189 version, even stays through a restart, says there's a new message and will never clear to 0

Any ideas?

Mine sometimes indicates an unfamiliar name, so I searched for it on Google maps (on my laptop). Sure enough, there's an "Illinois, AR" just a few blocks away. It's not a town that I know of, or even a subdivision, but hey it's there. I'm not using Conflipper's weather so it may not be related, but I thought I'd share.

Anyone having issue with 23549/2.5 Sense Cookie not updating the weather on the main page? I've got "sunshine" on a cloudy day.... and at night for that matter. And the update settings are set to every few hours. It updates if I tab over to weather and force an update.
