new TP2 for 50 bucks

been a lurker for a long time and plan to run this rom, but no way I can find a decent condition one for less than $100. Some auctions on the bay are 150+ for used ones in "good" shape.

Planning to run on pageplus (verizon) if anyone has an extra or ideas

By the way, I have been looking for a way to set this theme durring XDA_UC. Finally figured out to extract the XML from the TSK file (had to modify it a bit) and drop it in the XDA_UC.

Here is Livven black and blue in case you want to do the same. Requires a reboot to take effect:

I'm using the 01_06 29007 sencity Rom and I can't get the 5mb MMS cab to work for me. I installed the Sprint carrier provision, reset, and then installed the 5mb MMS cab, reset, and it's still at only 1mb.

I can't remember if there is another step, or a registry edit that needs to be implemented first. I had it working on my previous setup, so I don't know if there's also something in this rom that's not allowing it work. Anyone else able to get it to work?

the solution is not to install the sprint provisioning cab or the mms cab. sprint prov cab isnt needed. energyrom comes with a 5mb limit but the prov cab changes it to 1mb. also, just a fyi, sprint's network doesnt allow you to send or recieve anything larger than 2mb anyways.

puff's solution is one way...

NRGZ updated his energy_sprint.cab provisioning sometime ago. It addresses the ability for the sprint mms itself to accept 5mb send/receive. The issue is that he did not incorporate the Arcsoft size updates yet. So what you are seeing is the MMS Arcsoft app with the size restriction.

I run the energy_sprint.cab via my .mscr script in xda_uc+s4x. Then I have the Boushh MMS .cab install right afterwards, which *ONLY* updates the size registry entries for arcsoft and nothing else. That works fine for me. That Boushh .cab should be in the paperclip listing if you do not already have/use it.

I like to run the provisioning cab because I like having the EPST code access via the dialer, among other things.

Looks like I'll merge in the Boushh .reg changes into NRGZ's current energy_sprint.cab file (which has not changed in over 4+ months from what I can tell) and see if he is willing to update it in the next ROM...

True, add to it a lot of "chatter" that was filling space, and there is a lot more room for the good stuff .
What saddens me, though, is that with all my older winmo phone there was alway a lot of chatter about the next great wimo phone. Then everyone got on the bandwagon and you were off on another great ride. Now the shift seems to be stay were you are or go to android. 7 mobile just hasn't seemed to catch fire. Granted android is hot and 7 is new, I just hope that when things settle we can have another great wave of winmo phones.

50.00 was great! It was a promo at USCC and it happened just when my old tp2 broke. Good timing .

I hear ya, but I think we will all have google phones before long. Seems that the writing is on the wall. Oh well, I'll be sticking with winmo and my TP2 for a while yet.
