What version are you running? I am running the latest cookie home tab version on 6.5.x and I have horrible battery life also. I've had the phone off the charger for 4 hours today and I'm at 56% already. Pretty horrible if you ask me. I have to charge whenever I can.

Looks like it was originally put together for the 6700 back in 2007

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...7&postcount=11

No2chem @ Nuerom.com (ie nuebattery) has been working on clock tools for the TP and TP2... but hasn't updated since Sept 2009.

It looked like he was having some sucess but as far as I know there is nothing out yet that actually overclocks a TP2.

http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/pos...rclocking.aspx

Personally for 2 reasons I wouldn't run this cab...
1) No one since 2007 has shown any proof that it actually works...
2) It was made in 2007 for the 6700 (which I thought was the worst piece of technology ever created )

FYI - I ended up setting my 6700 on the ground, and drove my truck over it, and over it, and over it

Aha. Thanks. I had seen that post, but guess I didn't see the word "FAQs", being instead distracted by the out-of-season tree!

I don't feel so bad now that I see that my questions aren't there...

Any clues, though, where I may find the other Sprint apps? (Or will there be shortcuts once I flash?)

Thanks for dealing with my noobishness. I just want to make sure I don't have any bad tastes in my mouth from being underinformed.

I will second this. Been running for over 9 hours today, heavy texting, microsoft direct push for my e-mails, used the music player for about an hour with bluetooth and some light application use and at 58% battery life.

Similar, but not near the same quality and not just because one is brighter.

Can someone tell me what setting I have wrong?
First off there's a semi-transparent dark "shade" over all start menu screens. Look for it in "windows" folder on your device. I forget what they're called, but there's two of them one 480x800 one 800x480. If you replace them with blank transparent graphics that will brighten up your start menus.

Second - manila reduces the quality of background images pretty significantly. Try Voldeus Background Tweak or Marinello HDWall for higher quality backgrounds.

Note: Background Tweak is just as effective and much easier especially if you use the "fake" transparency option.

As always read the software directions - there's some important stuff in there.

Your login has a timeout period if you're on the same page for a while it logs you back out. Log back in and the thanks button is back.

Actually, it was because there is a limit for how many Thanks you can give in a 24 hr period. I was catching up on a bunch of post and was Thanking until my mouse started smoking ... So my Thanks got automatically revoked until the next day LOL

I'm running the May 13 Cookie 23xxx rom and I noticed under settings, system theres a new program called car kit mode. I've tried running it but it always freezes, search hasn't turned anything up on it. Anyone have an idea of wut it is or wut it does?

I don't have that in mine... Are you sure that isn't something that is the result of an app you installed?

Edit: I could only find references to "car kit mode" related to Navi-panel on the HD2 and some users on the GTX rom.
