In your 6.5 ROM, the Photos tab and Music tab don't rotate to landscape when the phone is rotated. I know it's eye candy, but it's nice eye candy. I'm aware it took a while for Sense 2.5 to get this feature running, but it does work and looks very cool. Did you disable this? (Yeah, if you can't tell, I'm one of those guys that still uses the Sense Music tab, since Pocket Player still hasn't been updated for Sense 2.5.)

Maybe this is what your Screen Rotate button is about? (I haven't tried it yet.)
Assuming you aren't using the g-sensor itself to rotate Sense, you can change/add the following registry key to get the fullscreen landscape mode in pictures and music.
Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"EnableFullScreen"=dword:00000001
It won't work if you add sense to the g-sensor whitelist since the g-sensor can't rotate to landscape and the fullscreen landscape at the same time. Since you mention a Screen Rotate button, I doubt you have sense set up to rotate on it's own. You can use other programs like FlipIt to rotate sense and still have the fullscreen landscape mode.

I just tried that regedit and the Music and Photo tabs still don't auto-rotate when the phone is rotated, if that's what supposed to happen...

I'm not quite sure I understand what is supposed to be happening...

Re: Update[9-23-10]★SharkieROM v1.3★Generic\Sprint[23563\21911 BETA][Sense2016]

My understanding is that the auto-rotate function of the Photos and Music tabs is standard for Sense 2.5. Maybe some others can confirm whether this is true. I believe it uses the g-sensor. With the Music tab, the function does more than just rotate the screen.

In portrait mode, the screen shows the album cover for the current song, with covers for before and after songs lining up to either side, slightly underlapping each other, sort of like the Photos tab.

In landscape mode, the screen displays by album, with the current album in the center of the screen, and other albums lining up to the right and left.

The transition between portrait and landscape modes is animated and very cool to watch. If you can find out how to make it work, I think you'll want it in your ROMs.

The screenshot shows what it does. It's actually a 'fake landscape' in that the phone is still in portrait mode, sense is just displayed as rotated. It's the default behavior for the Oboe and Leo ROMs, as they do not have keyboards and usually have enablelandscape=false under the same registry location. I set both of the folllowing keys to true, and get either the normal landscape with the slider or fake landscape if I just rotate phone on it's side (and do not add sense to g-sensor auto-rotation). If it does not work for you, it could be the sensor sdk (though I'm using Sprint Sense versionv4.2.19221329.01).
Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"EnableFullScreen"=dword:1
"EnableLandscape"="true"

Re: Update[9-23-10]★SharkieROM v1.3★Generic\Sprint[23563\21911 BETA][Sense2016]

Dude that looks my music collection! Good taste!

I have both of the registry settings as you described and it's still not working.

How I do check what it set to g-sensor auto-rotation? I can't find a setting for that anywhere.

I use SensorSDK 4.2.2011.3726.00. I'll try with your version, if I can find it, and see how that goes. Thanks a lot for your help. I really like that Music layout. I hope I can get it working.

It's weird that it isn't working for you. All that I've read is that you just need that "EnableFullScreen"=dword:1 settings with a leo or oboe sense music/photo tab and it should work. It only works if you turn your phone counter-clockwise (ie the phone/windows key/etc) are on the right side and the keyboard is shut. I would think that a newer sensorsdk would work fine, but I've just stuck with the one made for our phone. The g-sensor autoroation settings are under:
Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList]

and

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleName]
If your sense does not flip around when your rotate your phone, you won't need to change anything. It just leads to a double rotation where the g-sensor rotates the photo/music tabs and then the fake landscape mode rotates it again.

edit - here's a link to some settings hd2owner sets for the 2 modes, though I just don't add it to the gsensor and use both fullscreen and landscape as I posted previously.

Re: Update[9-23-10]★SharkieROM v1.3★Generic\Sprint[23563\21911 BETA][Sense2016]

To everyone,

A new MMTaskManager version (2.2.100929) is out as of a couple of days ago. I know that someone had mentioned a supposed MMTaskManager issue of it not closing apps. Personally, I had not noticed this at all. However, here's a piece out of his change log for the new version:

Code:
09/29/2010 - Version 2.2.100929

Fixed: New hooking method to close running process by pressing on the X button.
Modified: Default Load On Boot is now false, unless modify by user.
Modified: Default Close On X is now false, unless modify by user.
It seems to me that there was in fact some sort of issue with x to close as it wouldn't need to be "Fixed" if it wasn't in some way broken.

Anyway, I'm already running this version and so it will be in the next update. If you're having problems with the preloaded version of MMTaskManager, uninstall that one and try out his new version available for download from his site HERE.
