ok, that makes things easier. I was under the impression that the sprint stock rom from HTC website wouldn't work on unlocked phone. Maybe I'm just imaging things.

Wirelessly posted (HTC-P4600/1.2 Opera/9.50 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en))

Ok Everyone,
I've been using NRG ROMs for a long time now and I have never had any of the dialer, battery and SMS problems that everyone talks about. I have always did the Flash Dance from stock and everything worked great. Well, that was then. With 1014 I've been having all of the above problems. It started with not being able to call a dialed in number. Neither the Talk button or the hard key would work. I did a hard reset and a restore and that problem went away. Then my battery started draining very fast without even using my phone. Now I'm losing SMS messages. They just disappear. I in no way believe that this is a ROM problem!! I believe that I got a bad flash from the very beginning. Tomorrow morning I am going to flash back to stock and start again with 1014. I am really curiuos to find out if these problems will go away with a new Flash Dance. Again, I have never had any of these problems before.
I just wanted to write this and hope to prove that most problems begin with a corrupt flash.

Most problems come from a bad flash for sure.
Proper flashing will cure most problems.
Sometimes I think PC's get usb timing a fraction off and that may cause a bad flash.

Re: |HERM|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23016) ** | Built Oct 13th | Manila 2.

Major bug.

What I did...

1-Make a phone call.
2-After second ring, triple press the end button (hardware).
3-Now try to make another call.

For some reason this triple pressing of the end key Terminates (or crashes) the cprog.exe
I look at my task manager and it is no longer there. So the dial buttons or calling doesn't work anymore.

I tried this more than once...

It's been established that the Tachi Dialer can be unstable in certain circumstances. It's the Dialer, not the ROM (not saying you were blaming the ROM). Check Threefaces post a page or two back about why the dialer is important.
So the fix is to not hit the End key 3 times?
Just because I live on the edge and I'm crazy like that, I tried your steps (3X) and no crashes, no problems.

My dialer works better on this build than it did the last.
No errors so far

Re: |HERM|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23016) ** | Built Oct 13th | Manila 2.

Sorry if this has been asked before, how do i disable the backlight from auto turning off? I know as much as knowing that with NRG rom's the sensor method built in is disabled or something like that, but i would rather turn it off completely and manually hit the power button when i want to turn off. The reason is, when it turns off when my ear is against it, EVERY time i back away it NEVER turns back on again and i have to hit the power button every single time, which is such darn irritating. And also when using at night, it turns off all the time even when it shouldn't. So i would rather just switch off any auto-settings (or registry if exists) and use the power button since most of the time i make calls is within 5-10 seconds (voicemail usually). Thanks for any answers.
or if someone thinks it's better to switch the auto-sensor stock method on and figure out WHY on earth it's not turning back on when pulled away. Thanks again.
