Thanks, Three Faces! I will try it out tonight and see if it works. Unfortunately that tutorial is for the JULY build. I'm trying to get it to work on the Sept 20th build. I'll let you guys know how it goes. I would really like to hear from someone running the 9/20 build on Alltel if they got their MMS working or not.

I installed energy rom a few days ago and it's great, but when I try to install my 7.9 tomtom gps cab it won't install..Other cabs install, just tomtom won't and I've tried other versions of tomtom and nothing..Any suggestions??

Xpressyourcell, I am running the Sep.20th build of EnergyRom on my Alltel Touch Pro. This is what i did to get my MMS to work properly:
1.Install Alltel DCD carrier cab
2.Install remove picture mail cab
3.Install Arcsoft 5.0.69.44 cab
4.Then open your messages and click menu then click pics/video options
and go into the server tabs and make sure its set to connect via Alltel wireless.
I hope this works for you too!

Also, to check if it is configured correctly send a pic. MMS to yourself and if you receive the pic it's good to go!

Had the same issue w/ tomtom when i tried to install the cab individually The only way i was able to install was w/ sashami tier install try it that way hope it works for you.

23060 SYS and XIP 6.5.1 ROM using Calkulin's kitchen. FUN, FUN, FUN! I had the same issues as the guy on Verizon with the MMS size problem. But, I'm on Sprint. Anyway, the older Arcsoft worked just fine for me. Now working on getting everything optimized with modules for speed increases. With your experience you should give it a shot. I think you would REALLY enjoy it. PM me if you want more info. I might try throwing together a 2.5 for kicks. Dunno, we'll see.

Whotahn has another method that works for him, but I can't get it to work for me. You can find his method by searching this thread. Coincidently, you will also find the posts referenced by searching too.

Unless NGR come up with some major changes in his next release, I am not changing from his 09/20 Version. I have tried every single one of his releases ever since he joined this thread. Some of his updates were better than others and at times some worst than the previous ones and being at my 7th donation supporting his tireless efforts and generosity toward all of us, I must say that his last release is as close to perfection as it comes. It`s by far his most stable and responsive ROM ever for VGA Devices. I had to do very minimal modifications and it responds to most of needs and met most of my expectations.
I know this field is forever open to improvement and innovations, that is why my current position is only with reserve; Otherwise, I am staying with the 09/20 version.

Looks like if he does give us the 2.5 there will be no tiwtter tab
