I don't know if this is related to this ROM or an update to RSS Hub or the new Windows mobile. But I absolutely hate how RSS Hub works now compared to how it worked with my stock ROM. When Im reading an article I cant scroll easily anymore. Grabbing the screen with my finger just highlights the text and using the d-pad just changes the size of the text. Even with the keyboard open pressing page up or down does nothing, its so infuriating. I love this ROM but I use RSS Hub a lot and its made it quite unusable in its current state. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know I should just test it but wanted to know what other people may think about it.
root - OK, time for one more. I remember reading in a thread a while back some folks commenting on Spb Backup. If my memory serves correctly it would make a TOTAL backup of your phone. EVERYTHING; ROM, CONTACTS, all of it. I think they said it was pricey. Maybe they have multiple versions. Dunno, I'm starting to feel like erkme73 in his ambien induced coma.

This ^ I've had happen to me before, but it's not limited to NRGZ ROMs. This would happen on MightyROM, Juggalo's, Juicy's, you name it. It's seemingly random, but it would usually happen when I tried to quickly end the call before it's fully initiated, resulting in the (as you mentioned) need to pull out the battery as the only means of terminating the accidental call. I haven't had it happen yet on this ROM, but once again, I don't believe this to be ROM specific.

For me it's not 100% repeatable. I've tried doing it now like 5 times in a row on the 09/06 build, and I can't even get it to lock up once, yet.
Thanks, where were you 3 hours ago?!

You may be onto something, I'm soooo addicted. Do the laundry? Mow the lawn? Bathe? Small pets and neighborhood children are getting lost in my lawn.

Dang the questions just keep coming. I swear this has to be the last post for me tonight.
EVERY ROM which I have flashed which is WM6.5 has this behavior. I think probably WM6.1 as well. Seems like I remember reading about a change to the program itself. The one in the stock ROM is different to my knowledge. Haven't been able to find that version in a cab. I have tried to modify the registry creating a scroll reg for RSS Hub but it didn't work.
I guess, like me you'll have to get used to using the scrollbar.

Yes, i think I've tried every combination now, and here's my position:

If I start a call and the call 'connects', the hangup buttons (both) work as designed. The result, a disconnected call, but you're still in the dialer screen. And the dialer is responsive and will immediately allow another call.

However, if I press the 'end call' software button while the call has not yet connected (says dialing...) then the dialer screen disappears, I'm dropped out into the today screen, and the call continues in the back ground. At that point, the phone ability of my phone is hosed. I cannot get back to the dialer with the 'talk key' or the phone icon in the start menu. It takes about 30-45 seconds to time out - at which point all returns to normal.

I think we've rulled out 9/5 to 9/6 as being the cause, since 9/5 has the same issues. The flashing of both a dumped stock image and a shipped stock image (Sprint) also made no difference. I don't know what other variables to try.

Again I've turned off TF3D and "windows default' option in the Today items screen. I'd love to just use the HTC dialer (if there is such a thing).

The only thing that made a REAL difference was taking my Ambien on an empty stomach... woohooo!!!
Cannot duplicate your issue with "endcall" button since your first post a few pages back. Even now that you've supplied more detail, i still cant. sorry that i cant be much help. good luck

Hello...again...906 ROM IS BAD@SS!!!

Few pages back, i asked if the SD Card Encryption feature is gone or move from usual Start>Settings>System folder. Is it just my flash or is anyone else missing this?

Thanks upfront

It is working fine here as always.
Just checked it and added new feads and I can scroll through them with ease and ckick to read them.

What version of the rom are you using and are you having any other issues?
Try removing RSS and re-installing it.

Does the hard end key work?

Maybe the delay for the dialer needs to be changed.
Try this. Go into the Advanced Config app in the tweaks folder.
Scroll down to phone options.
Check the End call delay.
It should be set to 0.
If it is then try setting it from 1 - 3 and see if that changes anything.

Just something to try and not sure if it will help or not.

Nah, no dice, but good thinking, thanks. Now that hamidxa has shone a light on the issue we can all chill
