Quick Edit: I always recommend loading roms from the boot loader screen. To get to it soft reset while holding the vol down and power buttons.

no, is it required? i usually flash back and forth all the time with no problems.

Whats bootloader?

also i guess you would call it the unbootable cycle?

Bootloader is the screen with the multi-colors that appears right before your phone starts to flash.
Hold the power button and volume down while soft resetting your phone. Continue to hold volume down and power until you see a screen that has 3 colored bars covering the top 2/3s of the screen.

bootloader is the tri color screen that says Security Unlocked.

the flash dance is recommended at least once in awhile to clear out the cobwebs.

can i flashed from my computer? because im clicking on the rom and its giving me error messages

+1 on what root said. But i want to add if he's even having trouble booting up, might as well take out your battery. Put it back in then press and hold vol down and power.
