Hmm... my next issue is that the Input program that's usually under Setup-Personal is missing. I use TouchPal as a keyboard and need in there to enter the SN.

I found both these fixes via the thread search, granted I knew about them and what/who to look for which made it easier in this giant thread.

I backed my reg edit up and loaded it into sashimi so everytime I flash it it's there and it's my automatic on-screen keyboard. I never have to choose it as my default or enter in the auth code. I do enter my own owner name into the info spot under personal. That's one way you could do it.

Alright guys it seems I need to fix the damn ringtone issue AGAIN. Sigh... I need to kill more modules it seems

p.s. Can anybody "lose" their TP ? I dont need one to be activated or anything... just.. booting. PM me :P

I've been keeping an eye on craigslist for someone thats getting rid of one that does just that. So far I missed one for $30 and I decided against the one that was run over! Maybe others can keep an eye out in thier area. Lets get the man a phone!

Link under settings>Locale & text>text input. Gives error message: The file "EZInputSettings" cannot be opened. misssing components or somesuch.

Touch&hold on the sip icon does bring up options but they disappear after 1/2 a sec so you can't actually select one.

Skyfire crashes while connecting. No versions work.

This is probably a dumb question. I understand that all these ROM's with 2.5 and the newer system builds are sense driven, but is there any benefit to a person to flash these 2.5 ROM's if all you use is Titanium. For instance does the 21869 version have finger friendly menus now, and the Rhodium dialer, which I think was the dialer in 23504, and still have the top taskbar. I assume the 28002 have the same sort of style as all of the bottom taskbar ROM's have looked. Also does the issues of texting, ringer sounding, hotmail, etc.. still show up on the titanium side. I mean I'd like to figure that these new builds still have some benefits/upgrades/updates to the overall system and perfomance of the phone or is it really a more graphic/UI benefit. I use 10.25 Titanium 23081 and have no problems so I was wondering if someone could comment about the "other side".

is there a fix for the slow SMS. i use the threaded option and its really really slow. i only have about 100 SMS. i used to have more but i had to clear it since it was slowing it down. any fixes??? thanks
