Re: |H|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23081/21864) |Nov5| Manila 2.1 and 2.5
You could be right, but you can turn the volume of the phone from loud to lower to vibrate to silent, all with pressing the vol down button. If the software is screwing with vol controls, then it could be going all the way to silent and not indicating it on the speaker icon by turning it red...

There are so many variables to this **** problem. I am just now getting back on my feet from my stupid msl code changing incident lastnight SO i cannot test any of these theories until I finish loading my cabs. There isnt a thirdparty software that can somehow trigger the ringer instead of through winmo? or has this been discussed?

I just remember reading somewhere there were issues with the slide to answer features not working properly (bugs In HTC/rhodium dialer?) and I too have experienced this once and I while, so I thought maybe they could be related. Just a stab in the dark here.

I like the volume ideas. We get no ringers when the fail happens, but notification sounds come through. I'm thinking it would make sense that the dual volume control is acting up some...so out volumes are fine for all sounds, but the ringer volume gets corrupted...somehow [still havn't figured that out yet].
Regardless, setting the phone volume to vibrate will allow the device to vibrate when a call comes in. What I've yet to test is...with the device volume up, and the ringer set to "vibrate only", will the device vibrate or not? If it doesn't vibrate, I think we can start to focus in harder on the ringer volume specifically. |

Unrelated question. Search this thread turns up nothing... How do you hide the taskbar at the bottom? Using 23504 2.5... I wanna hide it and use a hard key to launch start...

The only way to do it is to run MaxxManila 2.1919xxx and use the related .cab for the hidden top and bottom curatins...either or. Need links?

No, I have the cab, I use it off and on... I thought there was a regedit to accomplish this. I know I did it with some elses old, inferior ROM...lol.

Hey guys.
I really need to get my phone back to stock before I take it into the Sprint store for a replacement. I need help ASAP as my screen is non functional at times and could very well die out any second. I need help with active sync. I’ve tried pretty much everything with no luck. When I connect my phone to my computer, the phone shows the charging icon but does nothing else. At home I’m using vista and I’ve even tried it at my work computer using xp. In the past all was needed was for me to uninstall wmdc on my pc and reinstall it for it to work but now, that’s a no go. HELP ??? |

You need to make sure that active sync is running both on your computer AND your phone. Also, when you connect the usb does a window pop up allowing you to chose active sync, file transer or internet sharing?
