humpf. the mms issues continue. I figured it out, but it is quite strange.

when I get an mms, it goes into one of my email accounts, the yahoo one specifically. weird.

Sup everyone! Is anybody experiencing any issue with their keyboard (internal as well) when replying to a text??? Whenever i go to reply to a text, i can't type nothing at all, but it works fine when i do a new text. I'm using 11/10 23504 2.5 build.

wow darn... so the first call i made to myself after the flash the ringer didnt ring =( using the default glass ring

I tried it and my phone rang... i dont know if its just coincidence or not... again the ringer issue is very random...

and second call i made to myself with sony ringer this time also a no go.

100% missing calls, that's terrible, and i was just started to like 2.5, definitely need to go back to 2.1 for now =/

...dudes, these things are alll also linked in the PDF or Thread version of my Guide for these releases. Or you can ALWAYS search teh files posted in this thread by clicking the little paperclip icon form the CDMA Touch Pro Upgrades Forum listing...find the NRG Thread...then click on the paper clip icon. It will display every cab that we've all posted....and reposted...and reposted.

This is esecially easy if you knwo the name of the cab.

I like where your head is at, but I don't think this is happening with 2.1 and I think they're using the same dialer. ...but I'll testy.

Yea, same...I didn't do anything post flash...there's nothing in any ring folder except the Windows/Ring one. ...worked all day up til an hour ago. So, now, with the ringer broke...Im looking to see what processes are running...killing them off one at a time to try to get the ringer back without a soft reset.

OK, both Guides for 2.5 are posted in my sig. I also added in the "haptic" cab from root and some minor things like "don't set up email with 1000+ emails in your oinbox or it wont work well" and "look both ways before crossing the street".

I just noticed something.....

I have volumeX installed and when I go into settings it flashes the wm volume settings and the ringer keeps reverting to very low/off.
It isn't NOT playing the ringer, it is just making it too low to hear.

VolumeX shows ringer high but wm ringer is off.
I think this is the issue and it isn't 2.5 not being able to play the ringers.

Going to look for a reg entry for the ringer issue.
May be wrong but I think this is the real problem.
Ringer volume setting isn't holding and turning off.

I have noticed that too... same for earpiece volume. Seems like every new call I get, I have to turn the vol back up...

unfortunately i did the regedit before i noticed this... but Im assuming the setting under Personalize>Vibration ... uchecking does not fix this?

If it were the ringer volume setting not sticking than wouldnt the phone still vibrate even if the tone was low...being that the settings cooked into the ROM come as ring and vibrate right from the flash. I could be mistaken, its just a thought.
