Okay so i have the Rom running to my liking, but i noticed i can't use the Rar program, which i use on a regular basis. Anybody noticed this as well?

Well I did that , but aI guess I have to change the End key or the back key both are not working , is there a way to change the setup on this keys the back key will be a great solution as well , I try the Keyboard Config but I could not figure it out.

No probs w/ sms here bro. Mms is a little tricky but works if you take the time to look up the best way for your carrier in this thread. Just do it!

Read Threefaces guide linked in my sig, it gives you the basic set up. You may need to search for specific Verizon server settings but I'm sure if you search this thread for Verizon MMS you'll find a post about it. Add whotahn to the username portion of the search, He's posted it I'm 99% sure.

Hit Start and then exit back to Sense, this works for me. If not turn Sense Off/On in Setttinds/Home. Post back if it doesnt work.

I assume it's unlocked? A reflash maybe in order. Are you flashing from PC or SD?

No sure if it'll help your issue but find a post by rootlinux and follow the link to his mod thread, the specific steps are in there for Keyboard Config. I think its in Threefaces latest guide now too (my sig)

I am flashing through a USB cable in windows.

Maybe I am missing something. Is there anything special I have to do to unlock it?

When I hold down the volume down key, power button, and reset (to the rainbow bars screen) the message across the top says "Security Unlocked".

If your phone is previously unlocked, then you're good to go either from the boot loader as you see or from the homepage. It's normal to see the unlocked if yours has been unlocked already.

Are there any tricks I am missing to get the firmware to work. Can I install it through memory card instead of computer?

thanks, that's really my only gripe about 2.1 for me. i hated when they switched to it as the stock rom i believe had pushpins... oh well

yeah, place the .nbh file in the root of yoru SD card. make sure your Sd card is fat32, otherwise it won't work. Then put your file into bootloader mode, then it should install that way. Try taking out the battery and leave it out for 1 min or so. Then try again.
