i see up on hotfile that 21864 2.5 rev 2 is the laterst. then the latest 2.1 version is all the way back to the 10. Anyone on rev 2 still having the ringer issue?

i upgraded yesterday from the last manila 2.1 21864 to 11/10/09 Manila 2.1 23504... i LOVE it so far, but a couple issues i want to throw out there:

in the 21864 ROM i had used the gsensor whitelist (HCLU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\Whitelist) to rotate manila, google maps, and a few other programs when i rotated the unit without opening the keyboard.

with 23504, that rotation no longer works. is the same diamond2 gsensor driver cooked in?

on a related note, i had been using GSEN's built-in config program to determine the name of the windowclass for use in the whitelist, and when you run it in 23504, and press the right softkey, the menu for hte left softkey comes up. i had to use keyboard config to create a fake right softkey. strange behavior. maybe the answer is to reflash to stock then flash back, but i thought id mention it.

Curious if you have the ringer problem on the nov 10 23504?

I am on 23088 nov 14 and not being able to use dialer is not good for my daily routine looking to switch.

i personally dont know of any builds of this rom that dont have dialer issues.


the rom in my signature has been working great, check it out.

Do anyone still have the version number to the ezinput that was in these roms before this very latest batch? I like the t9 functions on those, it just seems to be more intelligent and less of a hassle. I can live with the hardware keyboard issue as I don't use the keyboard at all.. Or better yet the cab for it??? hahahaha

i haven't had any trouble with 11/10 23504. i've been reading about the dialer issues here and just assumed it was a manila 2.5 problem... i haven't missed any calls, it always rings, etc.

i just followed whotan's instructions for trying to trigger and error from a few posts ago and couldn't cause one to happen.

I flashed to the newest Nov 14th Rom. Everything is great except one issue I noticed. On the home screen (HTC Sense), if I pull out the keyboard, the screen rotation does not work properly. It will either rotate with a black screen, rotate but the home screen is cut off using the same size as portrait, or not rotate at all. Anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

Yes...
