Hey guys this fix will place the "Back" softkey button on the messaging screen and install a send icon next to the text you type. Works great. Credit to Dwizzy130.

I set this up but it disables the send button while in SMS, I figure we need both the send and the back button to properly work. Thank you Energy , Great work and I have been using your ROM only. Thanks.

Yes what ROM edition are you sportin bro? Makes a world of diff.

The "Sense" manila 2.5 is the new fandangled gift from the cellular gods....well to us VGA guys anyways. BUT many of the manila files are set up different and named different from mania 2.1, so many 2.1 mods will not work. Just as many of the 2.0 mods wouldn't work on 2.1, only 2.5 is a whole new beast, 2.0 and 2.1 were very similar. All the great modders are workin to get new 2.5 mods out Rootlinux has already posted a few in his thread. He is the chit, check him out.

Nah bro you don't "need" it. It is a matter of your preferance or what you are used to. I don't use this set up because having a back button is pointless for me. If I am backing out of a contact it is to go to home tab....I wear that hardkey out, you can also light tap the call end hardkey and go to hjome tab....So no need for a third button to go to the same place, IMO. The 14nov23088manilla2.5 has a new send button cooked into the softbar in portrait and landscape so no need to add a send button by my text like the old set up. I like the way it is now, just my 1 cent.

is there anyway to make the mms and sms with verizon? that is a awesome rom on my touch pro if the messenging would work.the 2.5 is really smooth and i almost would do away with mesenging but i know there has to be a way to run the rom and get the messenging working. please help...

for some strange reason it stays saying "loading HTC sense" then it goes back to "tap here to load sense" but nothing else... any clues

This worked great on my phone which has had several different cooked roms in the past and different hacks performed on it but when I tried to upgrade my co-workers firmware to EnergryRom from the Verizon firmware it never gets passed 0% installed. Am I doing something wrong?
