...we're an entire community of Beta testers.

Typically when a new ROM is released, there are some bugs that get worked out within a day or two...and a second ROM is uploaded. So, to really avoid issues, don't flahs the latest ROM until you've followe dthe thread to see what issues users are experiencing...then make an informed decision to flash or not.

...honestly, that's why I love the ROM. I like fixing s**t and figuring stuff out.

And...chicks dig geeks.
TF,
You make a very good point. We are all a bunch of beta testers and IMHO, our goal is to collectively help NRG make his ROMS better. Yes, there are some glitches but like others said, hes not working with a physical TP anymore..probably through an emulator or just plain from memory of what he's done withthe TP in the past. An amazing feat to say the least.

Our input is important as part of the effort to make this ROM the best, but everyone really needst to understand that we really are beta testers until NRG can get it down solid...and again, IMO, he's done a great job getting it there. He doesn't "owe" us anything, he does it because he likes to do it and I'm thankful for that.

So, if you (collectively) are not willing - or simply can't - put up with a bit of tweaking or aggravation (minor), then it is probably best if you just wait until the build is more solid.

Finally, evryone really needs to thank NRG, ThreeFaces, Wino...er.. Winmonewbie, RootLinux and many many more that have tirelessly provided their expertise, input and time to help us all out.

Its a great ROM effort and its only going to get better. Be patient and kind.

Thanks guys,

David

I see someone said it is.

if it is I think I will update to the new rom tonight. I can't afford to be missing calls.

btw, an updated change log would be helpful...
Anyway, thanks Nrgz for these great roms

The ringer issue is the only thing holding me back too! Lets hope it's squashed.

Yeah that was a ruff one for me too, as this is my business phone! As I stated just above you though, so far so good. I have loaded everything on that I like, and I have yet to have a problem.

On a side note, any of you Alltel guys out there been able to load a RevA icon to the taskbar? I have some traditional cabs for it, but they always mess up the battery meter. It always show 100% charged, but it would be different from the actual setting. That and I would like to keep it in the style of energy blue. I am assuming thats what is messing it up, I guess it could be the dcd provisioning cab??

Thanks,
hinds73

none of the nrg roms come with voice command. You have to install it yourself. see the attachment.

THXS for all your hard work!
There's no landscape support if you're using 2.5. It is ported from Leo, which doesn't do landscape like TP does. You'll have to wait until some of these geniuses figure it out.

anyone running the 23054 2.5 mind posting a pic of the home screen. 1 or 2 pics will suffice. Thx in advance.
