is there a fix for the problems with the visual part of texting

there are cabs running around that will install a different color or design .. I am running a carbon fiber one

Thank you so much for the great rom. I am new to all this but have flashed my sprint tp like 5 times in two days with no problems besides the few bugs mentioned in the forum. Running the Nov 5 build and love it.

I just made the switch from Nov.4 to Nov.5 and everything is running top notch. Even was able to install the white flip clock and my texts still work 100%.

Thats correct - its a bug because this was ported from a larger WVGA screen.

...I was going to suggest flashing the latest Sprint ROM from HTC sites. Both of my refurbs came in with it and the new radio, but I didnt have the Unlocker issues you described - totally crazy...glad its worked out. We need you, dude.

You'll need to stop whatever process is running that controls the onscreen keyboard or the new one won't install...is my guess. Go into your task manager and see whats running, stop anything input related, then try the install.

LET ME KNOW IF YOUR TEXTING STOPS GOING THROUGH .. mine worked great for about 12 hours then they wouldnt send ... .. hard reset and it fixes the problem!

yea i switched back..

i was on 21864 and it was great then went to 23081 and the texting occurred after 12 hours.. so now im back to oct build .. until i can find the solution leak!

Yes that's how you SET your default ringtone.
Sorry, I was talking about Keep My Tones. Once you have all your ringers and Notifications set you go into Keep My Tones and back up Contact ringers. You also need to back up Notifications. That is where the default ringer is stored.
FYI- I posted this earlier but when setting a ringtone for an individual contact, do it through Start/Contacts. Setting it from Sense doesnt seem to stick.

@All-In case anyone is wondering- Sashimi restored my Opera Bookmarks perfectly. I know a lot has to be reworked in Sashimi but at least there is that.
