the battery is the worst of any rom I've tried and it renders the phone basically useless. I'm through a full charge in 2 hours. It seems like I'm alone on this but just wondering why everyone loves this rom.

This latest build is lasting me the shortest of any build... which means my phone will last about 28 hours with moderate use.

Adjust your backlight (or install lumos) and a few more tweaks andd you should be happy. Trust me.

Hey can anyone help me here, I have looked at the tutorial on the first page about setting up gmail on this rom, doesn’t seem to work. If anyone has set it up can you write a step by step procedure? Also when I try to get emails it says cannot connect , cannot connect with current connection settings.

I fixed it, I didn't realize i needed a carrier cab

Glad you got it working but FWIW you dont need the carrier cab. I have multiple accounts (incld 2 gmails) running without the carrier cab.

I agree. I just keep coming back to this ROM even though it destroys my battery.

man we should have some sort of page marker for when a new rom comes out i get a tp2 step out for a week and this thing grows lighning fast i cannot even find where i left off lol. man all the talk on why this rom is so good? it speaks for itself if you flash on a regular basis trying new things, you always come back, heck i think i miss this rom so much i am gunna reactivate my tp till the unlocker comes out lol
thanks to all that participate and help out i am also addicted to my phone now i lose my pot but never the phone thanks nrgz for all the work you do cant wait to see what you do to the tp2

My battery is fine.
MysteryROM gave me the best battery life but this one still lasts all day.

I did order an HTC extended battery though.

Cheapest price I could find on the net and it is OEM.
Good deal and the reviews I found on the 1800mah battery game around 36 hours of normal use.

Those of you getting all day charges... what tweaks are you using? I mean on average I get like 6 or 7 hours and thats without doing hardly anything.

My battery dies extremely fast too just wondering if theres some sort of way to preserve it other than that this rom is awesome.
