Anyone have a fix for the repeating characters issue with this particular ROM? Only happens when I'm using the hardware keyboard.

Has anyone seen this in the Diamond Thread? Its a fix for the Windows Mobile bubble that pops (flashes) when you receive a call using HTC Dialer Slide to Answer. It works when phone is unlocked either off or on, the Slide to Answer screen comes up without interference. When phone is locked it has a small delay before Slide to Answer appears. When answered it takes you to the Windows Mobile keypad then relocks when hang up. I don't ever lock my phone so that part could probably be tweaked a bit inside those registries. I am on MightyROM5 6/09/09 and under the Bubble folder i deleted the entry BubbleBorderThemeImage even though it didn't say classicblue but Mightymnb. Under the Toast folder i deleted ToastBorderThemeImage even though it didn't say classicblue but Mightymnb. Of course did a soft reset after to take effect and it worked smooth. Maybe you all can try and can improve and needed.

Removing this entry gets rid of the 'incomming call' text, resulting in nothing but HTC slide to answer showing up when the phone is on and you get a call.

The problem here is these reg entries obviously reference image files for the new context menus. The thing is I can't see any changes for the life of me, even after I delete these entries (and soft reset multiple times to make sure) everything seems to work fine, and I still have the fully working context menus, borders and all. I've gone through as many context menus as I could and I could still see no difference (between reg entries there and delete).

You guys can try it out, if there are no issues then perhaps we need to make 6.5 themes with this in mind. (at least for those that want to use the HTC dialer)

edit: or perhaps even find the underlying issue, I find it strange that these pictures cause the bubble to come into focus.

I Want to give a huge thanks to myself=D> for solving my own problem since my question/prob fell flat as a pancake here. I installed the stock rom,cleared storage rebooted let it do it's thing. Then download 6-9-09 flashed the rom let it do it's thing, then cleared storage and let it run and now my phone has ZERO probs camera works did the mls update no more #777 im a happy camper.

And who do I give credits to me of course and of course Mr Mighty Mike for providing the rom

* For those who give a flying dutch I had installed this rom and the cam wouldnt work for **** all I had was black screen with an error unable to get data from cam

Actually, I posted a reply to your problem as soon as I saw your post. Hard reset was one of the fixes I suggested as it fixed the 777 for me before. See this post for that.

That's the problem I've found with these ROM threads. All the discussion and the problem reporting get muddled together and nobody can find answers. Sorry you didn't see my post earlier. Next time I reply in one of these, I'll make sure I also PM the person.

Hard reset didn't do jackity jack for me but thanks for your suggestion I did not see your response but as mentioned I had tried that and no luck.

but hey all is well right and that's what counts I don't hold it against anyone just sometimes someone needs help and passing the buck doesn't help

Hey Mike, I'd say release it if it's ready to you, but as you anounced on your site, (I wanted to start a new branch with something noted as “stable” and “reliable”)
this. . for the MR6 build, take your time .. IF needed .. They will much appreciate it later so Noobs and people who pay nothing won't just try and tear down a build they have nothing in, other than the 5 minutes it takes to flash...Thanks again for all you do, i'm sure it'll be great!
