So do I; and I have the 3000mAh extended battery.

Such is the price of running always-on Palringo, push mail, weather, and Bluetooth.

anyone found a fix? anything i can do to help??
Have you tried the HTC GPS Tool?

Under the "Function" menu (left soft key)
1) Change "Mode" to "Cold Start"
2) Change "Chip" to "Q 7500"

Set that Baud rate to 4800 and COM Port to COM4.

Click "Open Port" and watch it lock 'em!

view the files attached to this thread and search for "Start"

PS: To view attached files, go to the CDMA HTC Touch Pro Upgrades forum, and find this thread. before you go into the thread, look to the right of the title, just above the 5-stars is the word "Files". click on that and it will show you all of the files attached to this thread. Just hit Ctrl + F to search for "Start"

Stop the battery life talk already. Some people have older phone than others. Some people don't know how to properly change their batteries unlike others. Cabs is I'd major difference between 2 devices. Signal is another make difference. DATA as well. The more background programs you run. The less your battery will last. Some people don't receive many texts or calls while others do. There are just so many factors that could be taken to the life of a battery.

Re: [July 18th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO HAVE GPS LOCKING ISSUES...
DCD POSTED THIS:

Quote:
I'm assuming you are running a custom ROM which attempts to tweak the GPS using entries in HKLM\Software\HTC\SUPL AGPS. Delete them if using a 1.12.XX radio and your GPS will lock as normal.
TO SUM THIS UP - IF YOU ARE USING A 1.12.XX RADIO AND IT IS TAKING 5 MINUTES TO LOCK DELETE THE REG KEY.
THOSE ON THIS RELEASE WITHOUT THIS ISSUE PROBOLY HAVE A DIFFRENT RADIO THAT IS PRE 1.12.XX

THE ORIGINAL POST IS HERE

(And yes I felt there was a need to yell as this has been posted before!!)

Re: [July 18th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

My GPS is working fine. I opened GMAPS, and it locked within 8 seconds with 8 satelites inside my house.

I am still running the stock radio that shipped with my Sprint TP. Those who are having GPS issues, are you running stock radio or an updated one?
