Another Noob question - I have a Verizon Touch Pro - would changing the pagepool size to 8 or 12 help me gain more memory?

Yes it would, and thats whats recommended for verizon users, 8 is pretty good, or 12 if you want to go a little higher.

Merdin, one problem I am having is, when I want to send a text, when putting adding a recipient, sometimes the name comes up with this long line under it and then does not send to that person, actually this just happened and the phone just froze.

Weird I haven't experienced this yet, try doing just a reset, and see if that fixes it.

that is just bazarre. i wonder why my alarm isn't working. when it's time for the alarm, it switches over to the alarm settings screen and just sits there. it did the exact thing in one of your other roms.

I am still having the same problems as you have described. I tried the fixe.. no luck..

flashed back to stock.. tried the fix.. no luck.. i also added the sprint carrier cab on the first page for the ## codes. And then it kept on telling me my text msgs cannot be sent.. i am using the new sprint radio.. my phone is the first manufactured (Nov I think) ... could that be an issue..

I really like this rom.. but the clock and now the text message issue is getting a bit frustrating...

P.S. I also had the clock problem when I flashed Juicy 6, but I didn't try the fix or anything cause I figured there is a problem in the manilla itself when it gave me the same issue on Juicy 6...

Yea the clock problem is a know issue with a fix, that works for some phones and others it wont, and about the alarm clock, i use it every morning to wake me up, not sure i might have fixed it on accident editing my manila, but DHarvery stated that they found a fix that can be included in the next manila they release hopefully soon, becuase it will not work with a cab install.

Also for the text messaging if you dont have sprint, then try installing one of the other carrier cabs and see if that fixes your messaging issue.

Merdin, ya I have Sprint, and no matter if it is a text or an email, if i try to type the name rather then use the ADD RECIPIENT, it freezes up with a long line in the send to space. I have had to reset every time this has happen.

Also on a side note, the green is pretty cool, funky look! The bottom slide bar is really small thou, but nothing major, Im playing with it, and ill decide if this or the RED is right for me!!!!

Merdin, is there a way that i could go in and remove timezones manually? Or is that something reserved for more knowledgable people like you, because if you could provide maybe the file that you edit out all the other timezones and just leave, i don't know, maybe the five or six ones most common..............catch my drift?
