It will act like it's supposed to Hehe ... once unchecked, when not transferring data you will see the "3G" "grey out" but don't worry, anytime any program needs data it will automatically kick back on and do it's thing ... then a few seconds later go inactive again. No lag time, no worries, and less battery drain (i really don't know why it isn't just set this way by default in Android and not have an option to run continuously for no reason???)

Re: OMJ's HTC EVO 2.2 Custom ROM v4.0 | FroYo 3.30.651.3 | *Updated 11/17/10*

I love HTC Sense but I get better battery life and more free ram by using Launcher Pro Plus.
Also I use Task Killer not Advance Task Killer.
It uses less ram and frees more ram for me.
I use smart keyboard also. It uses less ram.
My bettery last longer and device runs faster.
Just a few tips on what I use.

@Nygel: I'm having a problem with my Bluetooth Jawbone that seems to be getting worse. It spontaneously disconnects and then eventually reconnects, even when my phone is on my belt. No rhyme or reason to it. Is that what you mean?

no its not, a friend of mines I flahed his EVO with this rom and he mentioned that to me (he has a jawbone also, the newet one) but the phone does not update weather, facebook, location etc. the last time it did this, it was giving a generic location for me and now its doing it again.
So I really can't put my hand on it.....

Re: OMJ's HTC EVO 2.2 Custom ROM v4.0 | FroYo 3.30.651.3 | *Updated 11/17/10*

Anyone done 4g USB Tethering. I just moved to a new house and I don't have my DSL setup yet. So I decided to try out USB tethering and then sharing my connection through my router. It works but for some reason I can't USB tether at 4g - Only 3g is what my phone is picking up. There is 4g in my area. I confirmed it by checking my second EVO, which did pick up the 4g.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I'm using the regular USB Tether prompt that comes up on the EVO when you plug it to the PC. I'm running OMJ 4.0 (Runs AWESOME by the way..)

Let me know..

Thanks
