This part I understand...

Is the first one something that can be done on the phone with an adb terminal? hmmmm
This is the command structure:
adb push <local> <remote> - copy file/dir to device

and this is the actual command:
adb push footprints.apk /system/app

so what you're doing is pushing (copying) the footprints.apk file from your c:\sdk\tools folder (or wherever it is) to the \system\app folder on your device

I know that I have an issue with some apps (specifically Chrome to Phone and Earth, but occatioanlly others) everytime I flash OMJ's ROM that requires me to delete the app and reinstall it for it to update. If I don't reinstall the APK downloads just fine, but the intall fails. I seem to have this problem more often with app included in the ROM.

I always assumed that the problem was with the ROM or TB. Either way, it is a small thing.

OMJ, this is an observation, not a complaint.

I am ashamed of myself

What is ADB and .... where ... is it? Is on my phone? I checked the market and there is NOTHING close to adb installer, adb loader, adb anything.

Can somebody please explain this to me. Explain it like you would to a retard.

Funny thing is, I just happen to work in special ed (no joke). . .

ADB stands for something that I'm not going to tell you because you won't remember it or understand what the words mean anyway.

What it does is control your phone, but without icons and other other easy to use stuff.

Thing of OMJ's ROM as a picture book. Pretty and easy to understand. ADB is like a russian novel, deep, engaging, and in another language. Picturebooks are limited in their simplicity, but russian novels are limited only by your ability to understand them.

To use ADB find someone younger than you with an Android phone as ask them to do it for you. If they refure, 'make them an offer the cannot refuse . . .'

If that doesn't work, let me know, and I'll draw you some pictures.

Deep? I'm deep. I'm well over 6' tall and well over 350lbs. That's DEEP. Thick. Fat. Whatever you want to call it.

Engaging? I've been engaged three times! Once to a Russian chick, once to a black broad and to an Italian honey who I am now happily married to for 19 years.

Another language? I speak Italian and I remember a little Russian from the chick I was engaged to. Those are other languages. Right?

Ay, OMJ I think this guy is calling you simple minded or something. I wouldn't take that if I were you.

Yes, it is.
It is also the most amazingest, awesomest, sweetest, bestest rom there is. Look how many pages this ROM has vs the others.

What I like about this ROM is he is never happy. Constantly tweaking, updating, fixing, speeding things up etc.
