One question though, since I was gone from the HTC/Sense world for a long time. Is HTC Birthday functional? What is it supposed to do?
I'm not sure, but I don't think HTC Birthday works on our devices (I always cook it in, but it doesn't seem to run for me). If you are interested in a birthday app, look here. It's built with the manila sdk, so it matches the sense feel well.

Thanks. That is the birthday app I've been using. Was thinking/hoping there was an HTC/Sense capability that would replace it, but couldn't find anything.

If you're using my 23541 template, you'll see I already have the modules version selected....and I must say 23514 is running excellent!
So if they're both there, just uncheck the files option? Also, I assume this applies to MediaOSFiles & MediaOSModules as well?

if u dont care about FB integration, you could use the Rhodium dialer that has a mute ringer option...I think.

Is there any particular reason you left the "folders" in the sys?

... and did you OMJ'ify the SYS' in the new kitchen?

Thanks for your time and effort OMJ. Tried kitchen 2.0 with 23547 and had some minor issues getting Opera to run and setting the ringer for the phone. I decided to go back to kitchen 1.9 with 23547 and everything is just fine again. It is awfully nice to be able to drop whatever build you have into the kitchen - not to dismiss the value of actually understanding the basics of recmoding - just nice for simple minds like mine.

Re: OMJ's HTC Sense Kitchen v1.9 | WM 6.x / WM 6.5.x | 21055 / 21887 / 28014 | 2/16/1

Cooked a 23544 rom with 2.0 a few days back. Very fast and clean it seems so far.

One issue I seem to be having tho. I can't change the backgroud for sense either from HomeTab > Menu > Home Wallpaper or SettingsTab > Personalize > Home Tab Wallpaper. It selects the menu option but never actually clicks it. I can get it changed through a reg edit still, but any idea why the first 2 wouldn't be working?

i don't know if this is HTC birthday or not, but a few OMJ versions ago, probably latest 28014, I had a candle in the top bar on my wife's birthday.
