Re: OMJ's HTC Sense Kitchen v1.9 | WM 6.x / WM 6.5.x | 21055 / 21887 / 28014 | 2/16/1

The new uncompressed roms are great OMJ! I am using the 21XXX and it's much smoother, I still have the version w/ Cookie in it, but if you turn everything off and only one page it runs much faster, so it's no big deal. I will upgrade to the newer versions w/o it sometime, but right now I see little need to spend the time reloading everything. great work again.

I actually couldn't get Opera 10b3 to run when cooked in either (2.0 kitchen and 23547 sys). I just cooked a ROM without it and installed from cab.

Thanks JZR. I didn't even think to try that (dumb me). I tried 2.0/23547 twice. It wouldn't retain my choice when I tried to the change the ringer (w/o vibrate) and ringer wma - it locked up. Besides, I like the general look/feel that I achieve with 1.9. Also noticed a time zone issue since Sunday - an hour was added to my appointments (10:30 am becomes 11:30 am) - independent of the kitchen.
More than satisfied w/ 23547 (or 23544 for that matter). At least until the next series of updates...

It's a good thing I ended up cooking without Opera, as the final version was released today. As far as your time zone issue, did you check the time zone in the clock settings? I noticed mine was set to Mountain time, causing my times to be off by an hour as well.

odd, not sure why opera would have trouble

Question Re: OMJ's HTC Sense Kitchen v1.9 | WM 6.x / WM 6.5.x | 21055 / 21895 / 2354x | 3/12/1

A little bit of help appreciated...
I finally got a good working build for a personal ROM. Everything seems to be working well. Only thing I'm having some issues with seems to be the GPS.
My Location is telling GoogleMaps and HTCWeather that I'm in Largo; it can't find any satellites; my location is within 2400Meters. I played with the GPS/QuickGPS settings, but no difference.
It did seem to work when I went out to dinner, but nothing since I've been home. I went outside (slightly cloudy night sky) and still couldn't get anything.
Ideas?

Well, resetting settings to default, activating QuickGPS and a soft reset seem to have everything working properly. Yay me!

===============
GPS is NOT working 100%. For some reason, when I'm inside, it's still saying I'm in Largo FL. At least 100miles away. I don't expect it to work perfectly, but the same county would be nice. Google Maps is working correctly now... MyLocation for HTC Weather just won't work unless I go outside. Frustrating.

Are you making sure to also select a Rhodium Canvas as well as the dialer?
It's not required with the LEO but is the way the Rhodium is set up in the kitchen... ie.. you must select

this: Phone - Rhodium PhoneCanvas 3.40.35284.0 , and
this: Phone Dialer - Rhodium PhoneCanvas - White-Green , or another color
