Before i get flamed i want to exclude the people who had legit reasons for getting there moguls replaced and single out everyone who scammed asurion and sprint even when they knew there moguls were in decent working order. This is to you who broke your phone on purpose to get a TP and to those who just made up shyyt that they dont check for when they check out your phones THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING THEM CHANGE THE TEP FROM $50 to $100.
Again i exclude all who had legit reason, but you know not everyone in this thread had even one. whoever tries to flame obviously they did the not so honest thing so let see who says what!!

I was just amazed at how much upfront discussion of fraud was allowed in this thread. People literally asked if they should break their phone to claim a new Touch Pro. These people should have been banned from this site instantly. Anyone asking what reason to select, should have been banned, immediately. Frankly I don't care if you want to fraud sprint or asurion, thats your business. But to come out and ask the things you guys did shows such arrogance and stupidity, both things I thought were frowned upon on this site.

Here's my pain in the butt experience that ultimately led me to be a happy lad. I've had a Mogul for the past few years and have made many an I-phone user jeaslous with my hacks and fixes. I must admit that a few aspects of the I-phoney gave me cause for mild jealousy. Anyway...my mogul had an unfortunate meeting with a driveway as I was getting out of my car. It busted one of the hinges so I filed a claim with Asurion and sure enough after paying my fifty bux got a replacement mogul two days later. I wasn't mad...I liked my Mogul. I wasn't mad..until I activated and tried to use this refurbished garbage. The keyboard has at least 4 heys that take a million pounds of pressure to work. Internet explorer pops up every ten seconds or if you even remotely bump the phone. The jog wheel doesn't work at all! Sprint was zero help. I got angry with a chat rep. I called Asurion and explained what had happened and they offered a refurbed Mogul to which I said I'd really rather not have another experience like this. She said well we do have a comparable model...the touch pro that I could send you out tomorrow and she proceeded to verify my address. I said thanks a ton.."I guess that will have to do" and immediately hung up. I then emailed customer care and explained my experience and that I had paid fifty bux which was understandable and expected until I got the replacement. They shot an email back saying they just credited me 50 bux and voilla....I am now awaiting my new TP...excellent..I dare say excellent!...

No biggy i got the money from IRS check so its all good ...me , my girl and my oldest daughter all have moguls...about September my phone starts accting up ( dropping calls and rebooting) so i called sprint ( ecare ) and they told me i should call the insurance co and put in a claim. I did and they sent me a refurb phone that the screen had 3 BIG white blotches on the screen...so i called and refused the phone. so they sent me a brand new one in the box.. by november ( yes 2 months later ) the new phone now also has huge white marks on the screen. So i call the insureance back and they said they cdould replace it again but because it was past the 30 days they would have to charge me again ( deductible ).. so by xmas i was fighting with sprint for 2 weeks, they had managers call me ..totally refusing to replace a phone that was bad in less then 2 months of use ...TIred and upset i came accross this post and called the insurance again ...After the offer of a treo 800 or a diamond ( i went with a Diamond ) and still paid the 50.00..now i do love my Diamond but some how i still feel that i was robbed because less then a year i had to go to a diffrent phone that is cheaper then the mogul was ...and yes i will do itg again when my other moguls start to act up ...why ? because it is in my right to do so ..i pay for insurance and it should be my right ...we are not talking about 100.00 phones we are talking about 500.00 phones ... Them changing the detuctible to 100.00 should be looked at.. there should be a law that protects us from defect phones ...There should be a a 1 year full return policy or fixed/swapped at no charge ......Do you guys even have an understanding on how much the insurance company makes??
