Well, I finally got sprint to upgrade my phone. I should be receiving the TP sometime this week.

How long did it take you all to get a tracking number or a email stating when they have shipped you the phone. I have checked the status online, on phoneclaim. and it says for me to check back within 24 hrs.

Just to let you guys know, but when you take your device in and just say something random and they exchange it, when you device goes to the warehouse, if they cannot duplicate the issue, you will get charged on your bill from 100.00 to 150.00. Sprint is aware of what people do to try to get an upgrade for free, and this is a way of stopping it.

Of course, sprint is not just going to give you a new phone when there's nothing wrong with the phone. Mine had several problems with it that I did not want another replacement when I have had several replacements in the past for very similar problems.

I came to a point that if they did not give me an upgrade for free, I would have seriously considered leaving the company. I was not going to spend another week with that phone (model). I am glad that things turned out in my favor.
