Sprint's own memo says that representatives should actively try to move TP owners to another phone model if they need to be replaced. Sprint wants them out of circulation period. Mine should be coming in tomorrow. Charged to my account, no paperwork required. Glad I called last night as soon as I saw this thread. I actually was able to get a CSR to credit my account for most of the deductible. I got a failing refurb, needed to place an order for a replacement right away, but was away on business nowhere near a Sprint store. Sprint is awesome.

You are absolutely right my man, & I should've jus called myself last nite when I saw this thread too instead of goin to phoneclaim.com only to get offered a Treo Pro & then calling them on my lunch break earlier today.

yea, I got fed up with the 3rd refurb that was crappy straight outta the box and just ponied up the assurion route. I had to file the paperwork the next morning and the rep I got was a little snippy so I just asked to speak with her supervisor he was AWESOME im going out on business tomorrow really early so he was nice enough to overnight it to my out of state office.

I just called and now they said they put in a backorder and I gotta wait 5 days. the first guy only offered me the treo. the second rep I tried was a lady offered me a lot more and when i said that I didn't like those choices and she looked for the pro 2 for me.

Whats the probability of calling and getting the same rep who helped you out earlier? I feel like when I call, I will get the same Rep chick and be like "Didnt I talk to you already? No you cannot get a Touch Pro 2!!!" LOL.

Theres always a chance you could get the same rep more than once. Good thing when that did happen it was a nice rep. Just ask them for their name when they ask for yours.

I called them back like a hour ago and was told that the TP2 are backordered and that the rep couldnt even order me one at the moment

yeah i was told the same but she took my number and all my info and told me it shouldnt be out of stock that long maybe sometime before this week over...it was a supervisor i spoke with btw
