Lol, i hope the rest of you with real problems realize who you're losing your phones to. Guys like this that just want to get **** free/cheap.

Unfortunately for you, I've already got mine in the mail otw, so I haven't lost much of anything, but bragging about it to people who don't have it is kind of a douche move.

then again, I already have a certain archetype of you in my head so I'll find it funnier to allow you to "win" an internet argument.

Also, I don't know what they are having you guys fax over but I did mine all over the phone and have also received email confirmation. For the legit people trying to do this make certain to follow all the proper steps (there somewhere in this thread). If you have a legitimate problem you shouldn't have a problem, in fact, my rep offered me the TP 2 and when i showed even slight apprehension immediately began pitching it to me trying to convince ME to get it. I find it kind of strange that some of you are struggling this much, but if you're anything like the aforementioned guy that calls with a sense of entitlement maybe you should check yourself and it may get easier, not that this is definitely the case.

Anyway, my two cents. as for the guy who said they were gonna replace the Mogul with the Titan, first off, they are the same phone, secondly, they DID stop the mogul's production AFAIK when the TP dropped. The same will likely be happening, doubly so after all these fraud incidents. You can choose to believe me or not but I'd be surprised to see it in the store anytime at all this month.

Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2

ok, instead of calling to ask about why i didnt get a confirmation email, i went first to www.phoneclaim.com to check if there was something and found the link to track my claim, and is showing already shipped and coming tomorrow.

Yeah the email took a while to hit my inbox. Did your email detail the phone being replaced and what it was being replaced with? Mine doesn't at all. Just provides tracking.

Quick question for all those who were successful in receiving a TP2 - does Asurion still let you bill the deductible to your account or did they stop letting us do that?

Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2

Well, that was easy. This morning before I went to work I talked with someone on the phone who offerred me a Treo Pro and said that was all she could offer me so I said that I would have to think about it. Then during the day I saw that they ran out and I thought I was going to be screwed, but luckily I called in after I got off of work and told the person that the person I had talked to earlier in the day offered me a Treo Pro and said that she might be able to get me a TP2 so right away the lady said she would look into it and a minute or so later she said it was out of stock and I would have to call back later, I asked her a few other questions and interspersed them with praise about the great job she was doing (Which is 100% true, Asurion is one of the best call centers I have ever called into, and I know how hard it is to do, I just barely made it off the phones at my current job (Tech Writer for MS Baby!) so I have a lot of sympathy for call center workers /end long rant) and she said that instead of making me call back she was going to order it anyway and it would be shipped when it got in stock.

My advice to all of you still trying to get a phone, be nice and patient.

Yeah, my brother filed a claim in January and they put it on his bill.

I had 2 reps tel me today that I couldn't do that. But it's no big deal. I would rather pay off the deductible now than to surprise myself on my next bill.
