Asurion replacing TP with TP2 - Page 22

Has anyone who faxed heard back from Asurion? I was a faxer and havent heard anything.

I couldn't get clarification from the Asurion person on the phone whether the TP2 would be shipped be a NIB or Refurb. UPS online says package is .90 lbs = roughly 14.4 ounces. the tp2 weights 6.3 ounce. i'm wondering how much the charger, usb cord, manuals and packaging weigh.

Those that did get it from Asurion, was it NIB, refurb? weight?

Every time I call I get a women not a man. Honestly, I feel that the dudes are more chill and more comprehensive. The chicks only want to give u the Snap or Treo Pro.

Yea I faxed them in the afternoon now when I call I don't get that message saying I still need those documents. Man the guy said he can only offer me the Treo Pro. I guess I gotta call a couple more times.

I am not sure what some folks are up in arms over with people getting their TP's replaced with TP2's... whether it be through a Sprint service center, or through Asurion.

Sprint's own memo says that representatives should actively try to move TP owners to another phone model if they need to be replaced. Sprint wants them out of circulation period. TP owners are fed up with shoddy equipment. Period. Everyone wins...... sooo some of us may have to wait longer.... oh well. That is life folks. Stop whining.

Mine should be coming in tomorrow. Charged to my account, no paperwork required. Glad I called last night as soon as I saw this thread. I actually was able to get a CSR to credit my account for most of the deductible. I got a failing refurb, needed to place an order for a replacement right away, but was away on business nowhere near a Sprint store. Sprint is awesome.

The girl I talked to earlier too was real nice too even though I wasnt able to get a TP2. Was seriously thinking bout the BB Tour they offered me, thinking it would be something different to use, but I know I'd regret it if I do that. I know somebody on here said last nite that they were offered a Hero too, did any of yall get that offer?

I had a female that was uptight, then I had a male that got me a TP2 and then I called in again to pay and I had a female rep. The 2nd and 3rd reps were very very nice.
