I take it your water damaged stickers were just fine before you took it in?

ask them to take it apart in front of you and show you where the water damage is. tell them what you just said, "I have never dropped it in ....and so on and so on." ask that they fix it or replace the phone with a working tp1, they might bump you to a tp2 for your troubles, that's a big might.

if all else fail you can now do a claim phoneclaim.com online and file a claim through Asurion and get a tp2. the model should be 7380 for the touch pro 2, any thing else you will get another tp1.

do this today or tomorrow, let them know you are missing important phone calls and what have you, make it urgently known that you need a fixed phone asap.

Well i did tell them that, but the woman was just stubborn and kept telling me to take it up with the insurance company, so i left...

yeah the stickers are perfectly fine.. but ok, i'll head back.. now should i go to the same store, or try a different one and if they find out that i was at another one and ask me why, i'll tell them that i wanted a second opinion and that the first store was acting up

at this point in time, i might try a different store and see what happens. maybe, you'll have better luck unless the first store noted all of this on your account.

Getting a touch pro 2!

I called asurion to start my claim for my touch pro, they offered me the palm pre. I told them I would rather wait for another touch pro as I wanted to stick with windows mobile and he told me he didn't know if they were even going to be replacing those phones and to hold on while he checked. He came back and offered me the treo pro. I told him that I would rather wait for another touch pro because my previous treo 650 gave me issues and I really wanted the touch pro. He put me on hold again to check and then came back to tell me that they definitely weren't sending out touch pros anymore and his supervisor approved the touch pro 2! He said it was on backorder and I should get it in about 5 business days, but it's on it's way!

Getting my brand new TP2 on Thursday.

Went into the local store today to have my phone looked at due to keyboard issues (again ) and a few other things. Didnt do anything but tell the tech what was going on, he said due to the number of exchanges he wanted to help me out, and offered an upgrade to the Touch Pro 2, never asked for it, he just offered. It arrives Thursday from the warehouse.

Thanks Sprint for replacing a phone that has known defects and finally making it right!!!

Just noticed my tracking number shows 2lbs...Fedex probably weighed it and adjusted it from 1lb to 2lb to accurately bill Asurion Sounds like NIB to me. So glad to get out of this phone. This is my 8th one. The best one was I walked out of the store with the refurbished one...made it to the car and the keyboard died on my second text! Walked back in and the tech said "You've got to be kidding me." Loved the phone but the build quality was just crap.

Asurion is now replacing it with the palm pre 100 instead of the TP2. Shoudl have did it on sunday, they were replacing with the TP2 still on sunday.

i got a tp2 yesterday from the sprint store. just told them what was wrong and they got me a brand new tp2 from the back. i didnt even have to wait for them to try and fix it. Maybe having a couple of replacements helped a bit.

Just made a broken screen claim through Asurion. They first offered a Pre, but I told them (truthfully) that I can't type on the tiny Pre keyboard, and I need to stay with Windows Mobile. I said that if the Touch Pro isn't available, is there any way to get a TP2 since that is really the only comparable phone. She put me on hold for about 30 seconds and I should be getting my TP2 within 5 business days...
