Sprint replacing Touch Pro with Touch Pro 2!

If you are in the Baltimore County area I got my TP replaced with what I believe is a refurb TP2 no questions asked at the Townson Sprint store. I went in because my screen was going bad and I also mentioned some keyboard faultiness. That was on Tuseday. 30 mins later they said it can't be fixed and they will replace with a TP2 which i picked up 30mins ago. It was not NIB, I glanced at the ppwrk and I believe it said REC which usually means reconditioned.

Also, can't you do a ##786# and check the refurb, born date, etc on your TP2? that is how I confirmed my last TP1 was refurb'd this past October.

picked up my 5th refurb Touch Pro today and guess what? BAD!
the other touch pro would give me about 3-4 bars of signal in my apartment, this one doesnt give me ANY!

i think im gona have to call up customer service and have a nice chat with them

talked to the guy today who told me that palm pre is now on the list,but tp2 still isnt..

+1..I was offered Snap, Pre, Palm Pro, BB Curve, and Touch Pro 1. Second TP1 of the week is on the way. They said if this one doesn't work out then they will talk to me about the TP2..To be honest, I'd just like a TP1 that works..Not so sure about the size of a TP2.

got my tp2 today it rocks, but it has a scratch on it so right now I am on hold with cs to replace it so here you go.

tried the 8778096696 number about my split apart replacement, and since it was my 3rd, he cant work anything over the phone, now I have to go to a sprint repair center, one of the few I havent tried thankfully, and the one I have been going to for 10 years, to have them look at it. I have avoided them because as a 3rd party they seem too overly commission driven and I have had good reps and reps there that were like, meh, call assurion... I PRAY that they have some pity and just put me in a TP2, I am just bewildered that I spent top dollar on a laptop that I use EVER DAY for 3 years and have had no major issues with, I spent top dollar on phone that cracks apart in a matter of months of gentle care and now I have to chase my tail and get crapo refub after crapo refurb.... still trying to keep my cool.

About a week ago my key board on my TP1 went out.. Took it in and they replaced it with a TP2.. no questions asked..

alot of people are getting that, alot aren't. i think we need to find out why although i have a pretty good idea (see post #1455-page 146)
