Re: Retention Offer Revoked : EMT Dprt????
What was it that you were getting from them? In my case and several others on here we have been offered something that only the escalation team is able to provide. They are the new keepers of the key. As far as things like early upgrade, small percentages off, price matches. Those things appear to be still available through your neighborhood retentions rep. As far as not waiting for a call back, I have confirmed they do not have a way to connect this team through the standard telephone system, they receive tickets and answer them by calling back.

Re: Retention Offer Revoked : EMT Dprt????
So remember when I got my retentions deal? I called in today to claim it.
DENIED ME! So I called back a few times and I finally got a rep that CARED! So she pushed the deal through! I was ecstatic!

Done Deal!
After several calls to Sprint Customer Service, Rententions, esclation to EMT and emails to dan@sprint.com, I finally got the deal promised to me (or least I think I did). A competent rep named Angie is placing an order for the HTC Touch Pro for me for $399 and crediting my account $200 bringing in the total to $199. I will email her boss praising her good work when I get the phone. I will let you know by Wednesday. I still have one more phone to take care of.... so 50% done. No I did not get anything from dan@sprint.com. BTW, would you know why I was charged $454 instead of $399. Is it tax and shipping? $399 phone $12 Shipping $18 Activation $25 tax. $454 Last edited by fatlard; 11-03-2008 at 10:34 PM. |

I can now be added to the list of "success stories"! After 4 days of discussions, phone calls, and emails finally Sprint has honored their original offer. After 5 Moguls, I'm getting the TP for $299+ taxes; then getting credit for the Mogul once I send it back. I'll end up paying a net $30 difference between the two phones.
This has never been about getting over on Sprint. I just grew weary from burning so much gas to and from the Sprint Store exchanging devices. I'm glad to see them come through on the offer that they initiated. =D> I gotta say, I'm looking forward to the TP! |

Re: Retention Offer Revoked : EMT Dprt????
if they have promised somthing as part of a deal you signed and they are not holding up thier end of the bargain you have a good case to get out of your contract. tell them you are contacting the better buissness bereau and tell them they can expect a court case.
