i have call sprint and local stores they all give me diferent dates 10/30,11/2,and by the end of november but most stores say they will have it in stores on the 2nd of november...but non of the stores have receive the shipment

Most stores get shipments everyday so they could come on thursday or friday...when the instinct came out, sprint did special shipments on saturday also, but never got shipments on sunday.

IF and ONLY IF the phone releases on Nov 2nd which is slated to be so far, most stores I'M GUESSING will have it by Thursday.

getting frustrated with all these dates. I'm hearing the 10/30 10/31 and then the the usual November 2nd date. Whats going on with sprint. The worst thing is that the employees don't have any information to give. You call up and they don't even know Best Buy has the phone yet. DOES ANYONE HAVE SOME SOLID INFORMATION???

CRITICAL usually gives us daily updates .. we will see what todays updates are ... the last thing he stated was a halloween release ... so who knows .... i cant see the physical stores haveing it on the 2nd.. it would be great if they did though

YAY WORK AGAIN:

I have a conference call at 10:15 this morning with sprint im going to push for date information, and see what they ment by the Halloween special. Right now im working on the VZW pro test model and checking for the device differences and to see if it is crippled, more information in the VZW pro information post.

Any word on the conference call? I work at Sprint and still don't get the most correct info.

I hear the Verizon Touch Pro will be crippled...true?
Yes, will it be crippled SADLY yes, it will have a lower CPU and memory, but from the test model I honestly did not see a difference unless you use some serious programs.
UPDATE: Verizon phone does show a 7501a chipset so its looking like it will be crippled

Got mine from Best Buy yesterday..... The Sprint TP has the SAME Qualcomm(R) 7501A processor... does this mean that it's crippled?

an early release through telesales would be awesome

. but still won't hold my breath...ill continue to think it will be released on the 2nd.... so any sooner will be a surprise

Just did the chat thing on the sprint web site and the rep on there said it will be a November 2nd release, hopefully. I don't know how true it is due to the fact that people from sprint don't have a clue whats going on. No offense to anyone that works for sprint
