Contacted sprint corp here at home, and they explained to that there planning to issue early but no set date as we speak. But they did speak of a halloween release, so something is telling me OCT 31st. but could be sooner.

Well after trying to fix it myself changing the settings and soft resets I gave up and was ready to return it to Best Buy next day and all of the sudden started working!

The way I got it to work was to turn off the 'Data Communication' option in the connection manager then I tried again and started working, seems like the internet browser turns this option on by itself when starts... not sure this was the fix thou, maybe it was just luck.

My previous PDA was a Palm Treo 700wx with Window CE 5.0 (sorry Palm not going back) and this Touch Pro and Windows 6.1 is a huge difference with some nice improvements:

- Voice Command works nicely over BT
- My Jabra BT320s stereo headset works fine.

I don't know if is just me but the stereo sound is not that good in the Touch Pro (Treo 700wx sounds much better) is there any way to improve the sound quality is the Touch Pro? ( I tried the sound booster and no dice... still crappy)

Is there any update on the device for vzw, release date or info on it being different processor / ram.

thanks for the follow up and not forgetting about the sprint channel people , haha... friday would be nice if they could overnight it to me on sat .. but i am not sure if ups comes on saturdays so that might defeat the purpose ... then i have to wait till monday to receive... cmon sprint lets aim for the 29th .. haha
