My most local BB store is still sold out as it was yesterday. My second most local BB store was sold out Saturday, but it back in stock now, so for those of you waiting for BB, there is still hope.

Hell, my store sold out of 30 Touch Pros in less than a day...

Pretty funny, considering there has been practically no official advertising.

Wow. That is a huge quantity compared with the quantities I saw on hand last Friday night at the AZ BB's. Most had only a handful each.

critical, now that some time has gone by have you heard any info pertaining to the canadian release, i talked to a friend who is a manager at telus store and his boss didnt really have any answers for him.

As far as I've seen, last week when I checked, in the Playbook it said that soft launch (Telesales, online) would be Oct 30th and Hard launch would be Nov 2nd. New playbook doesn't come out till Wednesday usually, I'll check again and post on Wednesday of any news.

Since I'm a Microsoft employee, I then later get to figure out how to get onto a special corporate plan which has a cheaper data rate. They like me to be able to get email all the time, and I like the cheap data, so we both win.

Waiting sounds most practical to me as well. I also have a corporate data plan that is probably similar. I should be able to get the phone from my Sprint Rep later next month, but since I am a rewards zone card holder, it seems like it would be most advantageous to get the possibly more generous discount and have it earlier. Wouldn't hurt to get rid of those Best Buy cards kicking around either. It just doesn't seem like Washington is favored with Sprint Best Buys like the rest of you guys.

I'm working on a Treo 650 which I have had since its release, and I love the thing, but I'm getting tired of having to eBay a part number for every little component that gets fried. My business has replaced the entire device in the past, but its seemed more responsible to just fix it myself. (It's surprising how many parking lot bounces one of those things can take, and I'm a tall guy) Anyway, I wasn't ready to make the leap to Windows Mobile until it offered the same 320x320 resolution or greater in a far superior device.

Thanks for pooling in what you know. I'm excited about finally getting on the EVDO band wagon. Haha. Call me old-fashioned.

So just got off the phone with Sprint. The rep said the 4th? Anyone else hearing that? I'm getting mine through retentions so maybe that is why?? Things that make you go hmmm....
