We should of learned our lessons with those echat sessions .. they have been preaching oct 19th even after that day p*****... haha ...

my money is on whenever critical says it will launch .... i dont see it getting delayed after the 2nd.. we are just hopping for something sooner being that all the BB people have thier toys already ... NO FAIRRRR

Agreed!!!! I will wait until critical has more information on the release through other channels. Everything he has said so far had been spot on and has proved to be an excellent source or acurate information.

yeah i need to know when is the stores launching because i will be there before they open which ever morning that is and just for the record, i hate my diamond i cant wait for the pro its killing me the wait i will never complain how big the mogul is or any phone like it.

I am guessing that the run shipping to Sprint will have the same ROM as the BB ones. It just sounds like some of the stuff they tried to address, when they pulled the shipments back, are still issues. Example: GPS lag, heat....

I PMed Critical about this after the BB release and he stated that the Sprint phones coming out around Nov 2nd will be the exact same as the BB ones.

Ahh the website is back up, I wonder what happened? But as for the news:

Sprint is pushing for release to telesales on Oct 30th, as they stated this is only a estimate but this what there pushing for, there were also discussing doing halloween release due to it would be a on friday. Now I asked why this is only a estimate and it was explained the projected date and offical date is NOV 2. Now I did ask would this include EVP orders and that is also in discussion. Basicilly to put it simple Sprint is pushing for early telesales release but they will not make anything offical nor will they provide a striaght answer.

Now the good thing is this information can change at anytime which means the next conference call tonight could mean they decided, as of right now there still in discussion, reason behind it is due to quanity of the phone, There are still orders on delay. As far as I can see quanity of the phone is still in mid to high range but I can see there point.

Now when will stores receive the phone? This is where it got a little touchy. From what sprint had explained they also expected stores to have the phone by Nov.2 most should have already received the Demo models and Displays. Now they explained its possible for delay on this due to quanity but this would only be for the sprint stores not telesales.

I do have a few more conference calls with them this week and I am still going to push for a striaght answer! ( I'm also awaiting my EVP order), so I will keep us all updated.

. I hate the regular diamond, but thanks again because as soon as you find out when the stores is getting the tp im lining up out side the store before it opens.

I hope Sprint doesn't pull an Instinct again for the Employee Phone plan... I remember employees waiting two months before it was released for Employee purchase.

Does anyone know what are the "select national retailers"?
Directly under that paragraph it goes on to say "What about Best Buy" and then gives details about that, as if to say that Best Buy wasn't part of the the above statement. Perhaps a miswording/misinterpretation, but to clarify, there appears to be other national retailers other than Best Buy to get it now...so where else?

I apologize if I missed it in any number of the 760 posts thus far...
Actually it really isn't important to me, as I have to wait until the "Official release" before I can call in and get mine half-off. woo hoo
