Anyone heard from Critical, I am concerned that we may have driven him/her away from this forum. The most critical piece of information we all needed was if the shipments were in fact leaving at 1201am tonight. To also confirm that no other issues were holding back this shipment. This could also affect the proposed release date to BB and EVP orders? With only 14hrs left, we may be in the dark in terms of our best resource. "CRITICAL AUDIO INC"

Alright time the catch up!

- The original backing for the diamond and pro will not work on the sprint version. The reason being is due to the rounded edges, Now could it be modded? Im trying that as we speak, got to love the dremel tools.

- For the processors after arguing for 20 minutes about the verizon phone having a different processor and being crippled with verizon designers, They finally looked into the information for me since there was a conflict of information from there corp, The verizon model is using a qualcomm 7501a processor, but is using a different driver ( this is why I was unable to find the driver I was looking for) now they are still currenlty discussing not crippling and a conference is set for the FCC for discussion about this.

- Processing and updates are going well we have a couple out sick today but nothing to major at all, Im working the full 9am to 12:30 am today so this is going to be fun.

Also you are correct, releasing information can put my job on the line, but the information I am releasing is helping the situation. Also I am scimming policy with the information but again that is scimming not breaking policy, its like they say with rules, dont break them! but no one said about bending them.

Would you say it is probable that BB will get their shipments on time for a Sunday reveal?

I remember in an old post you said that your facility is seperate from the shipping facility. Do you know if these shipments from your facility are going to EVP tonight?

In the "other", now defunct thread, you posted that the reason that the Diamond is murder on battery is because the radio refresh is set to 100ms and it should have been 300ms, and that a ROM update could correct this.

1) Can this be fixed without a ROM update? I looked in the registry and all of the items/menus in EPST but couldn't find anything close to the 100ms value.

2) The only "refresh" or polling value that I'm aware of is the "slot cycle index". The slot cycle index for Sprint Diamond is set at 2. The forumla for calculating paging channel time is 2^N x 1.28 (where "N" is the slot cycle index). This puts the time at 5.12 seconds (or 5120ms). I'm a Diamond owner intending to go to Touch Pro, but help here can ease the pain of waiting for the Pro, as I am hoping for at least 24 hours on a charge on the Diamond.

3) Is it true then, since HTC and its affiliates are aware of the incorrect setting on the Diamond, that the Touch Pro will be released with the correct setting and will have BETTER battery life than the Diamond?

Critical, you talk about the trucks and shipping them out by 1200 or whatever time it was, just curious and i'm assuming here, your shipping out batches as you finish them? Or are they holding all shipments out until all the phones are updated?

EVP shipments wont go out until Nov 3rd and 4th

Once we are done for a full truck we ship out, we have to have all done by 12:01 24th.

Looking good so far so I dont see a issue today is the biggest today as we had trucks waiting when I came in.

Kinda figured that was the smart way but wasn't sure if they were holding in case another update came up and istead of recalling them just left them sit.

So if that is the case then they could very easily have some if not limited amounts at the best buys for launch on the 26th. And again Thank you very much for all your help.
