As far as I can see quanity of the phone is still in mid to high range but I can see there point.

Now when will stores receive the phone? This is where it got a little touchy. From what sprint had explained they also expected stores to have the phone by Nov.2 most should have already received the Demo models and Displays. Now they explained its possible for delay on this due to quanity but this would only be for the sprint stores not telesales.

I do have a few more conference calls with them this week and I am still going to push for a striaght answer! ( I'm also awaiting my EVP order), so I will keep us all updated.

Thanks for the update. Have you done any more updates to TP's? My nearest BB said they were getting another shipment "this week" but didn't know when. He did put me on a wait list...sure would be nice to use that 20% off coupon before 11/1.

It's too bad about the gps lag and heat problems, those are two of the 3 things I asked about to verify were fixed. Well, the heat isn't a problem unless it has side-effects (as usually the case). The third thing I mentioned was tethering...and I'm seeing mixed results throughout the forum. Anyhow, I know all too well about impossible deadlines and ridiculous software glitches so, it is what it is...lol

Sounds like the Sprint nav has no real gps lag at all. Heat problems are fixed compared to the Diamond because of the added heat shield. Gets warm, but any device will after long use.

Tethering looks like it works fine too if you follow the guides posted in their respected threads.

That is the problem with diagnosing a issue, people are having mixed issues, some people say they have heat problems, some say that dont, its the same with GPS lag and tethering, that is why i keep a eye out for problems that show constant with all users. But I still look into the mixed issues.

I just hope that HTC and the powers that B don't limit their employees (or <gasp> cut them 'or their paychecks' back) because of getting more and more work done freely from the public. That would mean that they could release half-working software sooner, but yeah, it'd be half-working.

Well, I will say this. Sprint has hooked me RIGHT up. I was originally getting two TP's for the $399 a piece, 2 year renewal from Sprint. They then promised me a $200 credit (100 for the MIR, and another 100 from retentions) that would be applied after I purchased the two devices. Well, I got them both from BBY for 256 a piece out the door - AND Sprint STILL credited my accounts for the 200 bux a piece they promised! Can you say, 2 TP's for $120? Plus I still have the Mogul I can sell... I couldnt be happier after paying 550 for my Apache and 450 for my Mogul initially!
