How are you guys' getting it for $299 or $255, because I have been with Sprint for almost a year now, but when they sent me the Airave I was told I had to re-new my 2 year contract so now I will not get an upgrade discount...any suggestions on how NOT to pay full retail price if I go through TeleSales (BTW, is it available yet through TeleSales or ONLY at Best Buy)....thanks

As far as the information has been provided sprint is wanting to release to telesales early but is wanting to wait until after Oct 26th. But is still under discussion on releasing to telesales on the 26th.

I am assuming that the Touch Pro that I bought tonight will have received the updates that you were supporting this week. Is there a way to tell if my phone was updated to be sure? Did the updates have anyting to do with the keyboard / screen rotate not working properly? (See my thread here. Would the updates be lost due to a Hard Reset?

It's a known issue and appears to be with accuweather itself doing some changes or maintenance. It worked up until late yesterday afternoon sometime.

Updates would not be lost after a hard reset, all phones were to have the updates, or verifiying them, that would depend on the rom verison, can you provide the rom verison that you have?

I got it today at the Bestbuy in Baton Rouge today at 7:30 PM for 261.50 including tax. That is with the 20 % discount. So far I am loving it.

Sprint provided the information they want to wait until after the 26th ( clearing there deal with best buy ) But as they stated it may have to wait for the seconds stock of the pros, which means it wont be until nov 2. This is the information sprint provided to me, but as they stated they want to release early to telesales, so in truth up to them.
