Well they could have looked at your account and saw that you had never taken it in to there repair centers. Then they're thinking you're lying about everything so why would they? They just caught you lying to them.That would be my thinking, cause I'm sure they don't read the emails without looking at our accounts.

Wow, I managed to get them to "apply directly the mail-in rebate" to my two accounts when I pick up my Pro's! That means $199.99 a piece, without waiting 14 weeks for a check. Sprint is making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside again.

I'm finally finished with all this.
After e-mails and phone conversations, I'm stuck. Either upgrade with my $150 discount (contract ends in November), or get a different Mogul with TEP. No nice offers. Nothing. Every rep I asked, (maybe 4 or 5) didn't mention, nor know what the Self-Service Replacement Tool is. I had to tell them where I found it, and what links I clicked on... ![]() |

i took a different approach, but I think my situation takes different merrit I will summarise
took phone into repair center got a refurb, refurb was bad, ordered a second refurn that was bad. 2 weeks of calling *2 getting noware, 16 e-mails to e-care giving a 50 dollar credit to get an asurion replacement. reading the terms of the warranty and finding out I was blatently lied to. called *2 lucked out and got florida. transfered to account services. getting sent a NIB mogul which is getting sold to my account then credited meaning my 30 day window will open up again in 2 days. so if the touch pro comes out by the 19th like we all think ill just have the pay the difference (30 bucks) if not ill just get the diamond. it pays dividends to read the contract your trying to invoke, it would have probably saved a large percent of hassle I went through after the repair center said they wouldnt repair/replace the last phone.

Question: If I just received a new touch through warranty replacement, do I now have a 30 day window to exchange? I originally had a mogul bought in July of 07 that went buggy and was exchanged for a touch in November of 07. It died last week and was replaced in store with a new Touch. My new touch (which was NIB by the way) has a bad screen. I'm tired of it and will probably upgrade to the pro if I can get a decent deal on one. If I am within the 30 day exchange period, I should be able to swap it for the pro and pay the difference, correct?
Sorry for the ignorance, I hear different things from different people regarding this. |
