No way I know of to turn them off without getting down into the boot files -- and it just doesn't seem worth it to avoid having to delete a few files every once in a while, since I don't think they're doing any harm.
Right on, I just added FSCK*.REC to my custom files list in ClearTemp. Set it to run at startup (WinMo) and they'll never bother me again.

I was just gonna post about the 1/9 update's CDMA issue, nice turnaround on that fix. I'm setting it up now, will report back. Thanks for all the work you're putting in.

The 1/10 build works for me (with Eclair)! Thanks!

For some reason WiFi data didn't work even though it could connect to my router, but at least CDMA data worked.

Hey Makkonen, do you think GPS support will come in the near future (i.e. is it just that drivers need to be ported), or would you guess it is going to take a long time?

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)

I would guess later, rather than sooner. It's not working yet on GSM devices; it's not a super high priority (getting lower level functionality more stable is higher on the list for most devs, I'd think); and even once it is working on GSM, there's a distinct possibility that that work won't directly translate to CDMA.

That said, it is working on the Vogue, which is CDMA, so... maybe it'll happen faster than I expect. I'm not holding out hope, though.

That's actually good news to hear. I recently made the jump to try out Android on my TP. Lovin' it thus far. I'd definitely like to have GPS working to top things off.

I agree though lower level stability needs work I'm going on my second day but that's mainly cuz i'm only using it to text and im and a little e-mail. any memory intesive app causes it to freeze it only shows 39 megs of free memory. on a clean boot

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)

i played with it a little more over the weekend. i tried to download something from the market but it only said it was going to download and never did i don't think. it did reboot on me a couple of times but it really kills my battery. still loving the idea though! i forgot my memory card with all the andriod files on it so hopefully i'll remember it tomorrow so i can update the zimage with the newest and see if it makes any differences.
