Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)
In the 1/9 & 1/10 builds, battery status on my device says charging whether or not it's actually plugged in. Anyone else seeing this? Wondering if it has to do with my rom,I've got No2chem's fast-charge battery driver cooked in.
Makkonen, what rom are you using? If you think it's worth the trouble, I might flash the same one to eliminate some variables in testing. |

It says charging for me as well (everyone i'm assuming) I don't think rom is an issue once you boot into android.

Could be, but the functionality of the mic, backlight control, CDMA data, etc in Android are affected by their state in WinMo when HaRET is launched.

mine also says charging. battery indicator is completely screwed up, but you should still be able to use android. battery life is also rather diminished, but that may be because i think this is a linux shell running on top of winmo. it isn't as if you're booting into android, you're running haret.exe

Not much difference. after disabling Manila I went from free memory in the high 30s to the really low 40s so 4 to 5 meg difference. I don't know if that's significant Last edited by Yibrushn; 01-11-2010 at 07:25 PM. Reason: Test Results |

i'm sure you've seen this already but just incase, basically this is just shy of an andriod rom. a wm rom that is stripped to nothing but the core to run haret.exe

I got Eclair booting, but I wouldn't call it working. It's so slow that I can't even unlock the screen. What could I be doing wrong? How much free space should I have on my SD card after the fact?

Make sure you're using the latest zimage/modules and it seems to get better as it runs.
