Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Someone had success getting the market to work by starting fresh with a new data.img. That problem happened before -- I don't recall what the fix was then (I think a change to system.sqsh). android.process.media crashing seems to happen; check your sd card for weird files and try a new data.img for that, as well.
Edit: Walked away for 20 minutes and the problem got solved. Gotta love that. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
ok first attempt was bootloop
second attempt, deleted data.img, replaced zimage and mods = froze before boot animation. trying again... third attempt, nothing changed from second attempt = started! so from aio package, all i replaced was zimage and mods and it booted. so zimage and mods is culprit? Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
very little. newer zimage/mods/rootfs. rhod400/500 startup.txt added. raph800 startup.txt added as default. windows adb line added to eclair.user.conf. Terminal.apk added to AndroidApps. Possibly a newer version of HaRET which recognizes rhod400.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Grabbed newest zImage, rootfs and it's still doin the boot loop thing. Not sure what else to look at, it's not the zImage, rootfs, initrd.gz, or system.sqsh file... It also doesn't seem to matter if there is a data.img file there or not.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Seems almost certain it's something to do with the cache folder, as it started happening when you deleted that, no? Except... there was nothing in there? I'm flummoxed.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Oh. I thought you didn't start to get the boot looping until you trashed the cache folder. I guess I should try this on my rhod400 and see if I can replicate it.
