Sprints matches Big reds TP2 price! (May not work)

I've tried two phone calls last week and talked to numerous departments but to no avail. I chatted with E-Care, which didn't work either. I tried once more to call just to see if they even knew about the corporate rate for this phone today. I never dared threaten retentions about leaving for Verizon just because they know I can't find a comparable plan even close to mine, lol. I don't mind getting shot down each time considering I'm on a SERO plan. Sprint would have a hard time recouping the subsidy from a customer like me. Overall, the TP2 was worth the price IMO just because of its screen and improved performance.

Now if I were a ten year premier customer who was paying $70 or more per month, that would be another story....

Negative... I've been out of contact since Jan 09... no deal... no nothing.

I've called at least once a day this week... nothing. Same as many.

Today, the guy stated that their is nothing they can do... again... $350 plus tax... too much... I can wait. LOL

Basically this thread is simply getting people to call who would have gotten a deal anyway (for whatever reason)... if they had called. All good... some are getting deals because they saw this thread... so it is all good.

I was just checking my Sprint online bill and realize it says I get
Business Discount Sprint 20% (thats -$17.00 of my total bill) - ( this was really a loyalty discount sprint gave me a while back for being with them for 10years.... does this mean i qualify for the $199 business discount?

well got an email from ecare today stating they would do it for me becouse I have been witht hem for over 10 years. so I am one of the lucky few who got the Pro 2 for 199 and they still said I was eligible for the MIR glad I stuck with it.

This was even after threatening to leave. (I was polite the whole time tho)

Has anyone had success with returning the device and buying it for the price match? Im not the acct holder, so it wouldnt really be in my favor to get a credit anyway. The $ would go towards the bill instead of to my pockets (where it came from).

A big thanks to the all of you who said to keep trying. I really hate calling people to try and get something like this, but in the end, 2 phone calls and some patience later, it finally worked!

Somehow they said they I was a coporate account which I don't even know how that works to begin with? Is it because of the company I work for? I mean what? I wasn't about to object when the lady said that. So Now I have a $155 credit! Thanks to everyone that pushed to keep trying! I am now satisfied!

True because I also echatted and the lady at first said she could match verizon but not until october 1st, but she made a note on my account that said her supervisor ok'd the price match. So today I echatted again and the rep said they would honor the price match because I was promised the credit, but said it was only supposed to be for corporate only.
