i just called in and told them about the chat i had the other day. the woman transferred me to telesales and they told me there is not price change but they are having promotions the second week in october so i guess ill wait till then or i can just call back

Here is my latest email from sprint ecare- I will wait to see if the credit actually goes through!

I am willing to bet the reason they gave the second week of Oct is because that is when Windows Phone 6.5 ships. They are probably wanting everything to hit at the same time. I know the talk was at one time that new [phone] hardware would not be sold or displayed until Windows Phone offically shipped so they could release together to make a bigger impact on the market.

well i did a chat that got disconnected and decided to try phone customer service. i asked the first lady about it and she gave me a very condescending no when i asked if they were price matching. she then thought about it and transferred me to a sales rep who did some online research and talked to a manager and then came back to tell me that they can issue me a 150 dollar credit to match their competitors. he was very courteous and didnt argue with me at all. he just wanted to make absolutely sure that he gets high marks on the survey that they call you about after.

yea you probably right. do they have the touch pro 2 on display and for sale at the sprint stores? or is it online and telesales only?

I am chatting with a sprint rep about my elgiblility for an upgrade. I talked about the TP2 being more exspensive than Verizon. Guess what the agent type? " Starting Tommorrow the price will be $199.99".
