Again, you can easily overclock the Droid to 1.1 gigs.

SDee here for info on 2.1 running on the Droid:
http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/10/m...ate-for-droid/

And understand they have been unnoficially running 2.1 on it for quite a while now (much like us Sprint TP2 users running WM 6.5).

Agian, please tell me what advantages the Nexus One has before you go saying my opinion is crap.
I did like twice... and just cause winmo 7 has run on a hd2 doesn't mean its got winmo 7 yet... lmaoo

Also like I stated the ui on the nexus is 10x better as well. Like dragon said you haven't played with them both so your opinion is kind of crap. You haven't overclocked and compared them, nor do you know how simple it is to even root your Droid and is it worth it as it voids warranty. Many of my friends have the Motorola Droid and of course theirs isn't rooted and one of the first things they notice (after the gorgeous display of course) is how freaking fast my phone is, it never fails. Besides keyboard no one would ever pick the Droid over the nexus one.
#1: Just having a faster processor means jack. Again, the OMAP does more per clock cycle.
#2: If the UI on the Nexus was so great people wouldn't be flashing ROMs that have Sense on the Nexus. Since this is quite common, I'll just say that the UI is not such an advantage.
#3: I haven't personally overclocked, but I have played with my friend's quite a bit.
#4: Yes, I know how simple it is to root. I went the rounds with my friend on that already when I was talking about how easy it is for me to flash a ROM. It is pretty easy to root. No bog deal at all.
#5: The Droid has a better screen resolution than the Nexus.

#5: You have clearly not tried them both liek you claim or you would not be making all of these bogus claims.
#6: And yes, it has a MicroSd SLOT AND internal memory. And I posted a link listing the specs that proved it. So while I may not pretend to have all of this experience with both like you, at least I posted a link to the actual specs and they confirmed what I said.
Salty you have issues man. Only you could say a 550mhz processor is better then a 1000mhz processor. Did you not just hear me, I have played with them both and you haven't so please just shut up, the nexus one is significantly faster then the droid and its a noticable difference when you actually play with both of them.

it has a better screen resolution by 54 pixels or something minor like that but its not amoled display. Once again read my last post, people who have actually seen both in person guak over my display.

droid is about to have 2.1, doesn't officially have it yet.

the rest of the argument is useless.

Your beating around my answers... Lmaooo.. if it does more per clock cycle why is the n1 faster.

I run android you don't...
The Droid DOES have multitouch man, lol. Again, it may not out of the box, I hinestly don;t know. But anyone who wants can put 2.1 on it right now, and it has multitouch just like the Nexus.

And again, it has a 16GB secondary ROM, AND a microSD slot.

Good for you running Android. That certainly does not mean you know everything there is to know about every Android device ever made. Clearly, you don't.

the main reason people are flashing like you said (there are so few of them, i read all the forums) is to try something new like the new sense ui and mulitouch with the new sense, also the new rom has flash support already, thats why people are flashing. the moto droid has neither nexus ui or droid.

1: The processor IS better man, lol. You seem to thin kthe only thing that matters is clock speed. Well, again, you can clock the Droid to even faster than teh Nexus if you care so much about clock speed.

2: I would bet dollars to donuts my frioend's Droid is way faster than your Nexus. Again, he has been using Android since the G1 launched and chose the Droid when he knew about the Nexus. He's not some newbie to Android, he knows what he's doing.

3: The Droid actually has a better resolution than the Nexus and you're blasting its display, lol. Whatever man.
