My messaging/email client keeps opening?

Seems my messaging/email keeps opening on it's own now...here's what happens:

- I notice my messaging open in the task manager, and close it
- within a minute, the screen will flash to the message center, and at the bottom it says "syncronizing messages", or something like that, but there are no new messages
- so, I close it again, and then it opens, and the cycle continues

I recently installed CleanRam, and I read after the fact that their is a white list (exceptions list) for programs that run @ startup...would my message client fall into this category, and have I broken it by running CleanRam? It's not a huge deal, except when I used to look down I saw my awesome background, but now it's always my messages?
